MICAT 2017 Results – Detailed Information
MICA is one of the most popular B-Schools in India. MICA has announced their MICAT 2017 Phase 1 Result on December 22 of 2016. The result of MICAT 2017 Phase 1 indicates scores obtained by candidates in MICAT 2017 Phase 1 which held on December 11 of 2016. The results MICAT 2017 Phase 2 which held on February 2 of 2017 will be published on February 23 of 2017. Results both MICAT 2017 1 and MICAT 2017 Phase 2 will be announced indicating the list of candidates shortlisted for GE and PI. The institute will declare final results on March 31 of 2017, for PGDM-C Admission 2017-19.

MICAT 2017 Result – Important Points
There are three steps involved in MICA PGDM-C Admission 2017, those are as follows.
- Candidate must have appeared in any of the following:
- CAT 2016.
- XAT 2017.
- Candidate must also appear in MICAT 2017.
- After this candidate must appear in GE and PI exercises organised by MICA.

MICAT 2017 Cut Off
MICAT 2017 consists of 6 sections
- Psychometric (P)
- Verbal ability (VA)
- Quantitative ability (QA)
- General awareness (GA)
- Divergent-Convergent Reasoning (DCR)
- Descriptive Test (DT)
(A) Psychometric test is qualifying in nature.
(B) Candidates who qualify “P” are evaluated for “VA”, “QA”, “GA”, and “DCR”.
(C) If the candidate obtains minimum cut off in scaled scores in VA, QA, GA, DCR, and qualify on basis of relative performance, are evaluated on the descriptive test.
MICA has not specified cutoffs of each test at the moment.
MICAT 2017 Score Card
Candidates can view scores online after appearing for MICAT 2017.
Scaled score in a test of a candidate in MICAT 2017 Phase 1 or MICAT 2017 Phase 2 = (Score obtained by individual candidate in test/ maximum marks obtained by any candidate amongst the candidates who have appeared in MICAT 2017 Phase 1 or MICAT 2017 Phase 2 in that test) * (Maximum possible score in that test in MICAT 2017 Phase 1 or MICAT 2017 Phase 2).
This brings us to GE-PI Shortlist. Those who clear (A), (B), (C) and qualify based on relative performance subject to getting cut off marks in Scaled Score in Descriptive Test shall be considered for short listing for GE and PI.
Marks for MICAT Result 2017 GE-PI Shortlist – List will be prepared on the basis of MICAT 1 2017 and /or MICAT 2 2017 or better of the two scores if a candidate has taken both MICAT 2017 Phase 1 and MICAT 2017 Phase 2.
