MICA Admissions Test (MICAT) is an opening for enrolling in MICA’s flagship course Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communications (PGDM-C). The programme mainly focuses on strategic marketing and communications. MICAT is a computer-based test conducted for a period of 3 hours. The exam paper comprise of two sections.
All of you who are interested in applying must hold a Bachelors degree (in keeping with the 10 plus 2 plus 3 system) or a correspondent’s qualification in any discipline well known by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Those students who are appearing for final examinations of the Bachelors degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.
The selection process consists of the following three steps:
- Step I: CAT 2016, XAT 2017 and GMAT (2015 onwards). Every candidate must take minimum one of the three exams: CAT 2016, XAT 2017 and GMAT (2015 onwards)
- Step II: MICA Admission Test (MICAT): Those entire candidates are assessed on MICAT which comprise of 6 sections: Psychometric (P), Verbal ability (VA), Quantitative ability (QA), General awareness (GA) , Divergent-Convergent Reasoning (DCR) and Descriptive Test (DT).
- Step III: All the candidates shortlisted after MICAT shall appear for both GE and PI.
