MHT CET 2017 Engineering Exam Pattern – The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra State conducts the MH CET / MHT CET 2017 to shortlist candidates for admissions to the first year B.E/B. Tech programmes. The MH CET / MHT CET 2017 is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in the 3rd week of May 2017. The admissions to the Maharashtra state engineering colleges were done through JEE Main for the years 2014 and 2015, but for the upcoming academic year of 2017, the DTE may conduct its own, one exam for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses in the state of Maharashtra. Those students, who have cleared their class XII or equivalent and wish to pursue undergraduate programmes in Maharashtra engineering colleges, are eligible to apply for MHT CET 2017.

MHT CET 2017 Engineering Complete Paper Pattern

The MHT CET 2017 entrance exam will comprise of three papers. The candidates are required to appear for all the three.

First paper: Physics and Chemistry carrying 100 marks each

Second paper: Botany and Zoology carrying 100 marks each

Third paper: Mathematics carrying 100 marks

Do note that all the questions will be of objective type and there won’t be any negative marking.

The Question paper will be made available in English, Marathi or Urdu language. For every correct answer you will be awarded with 1 mark and as per Maharashtra Government’s decision of removing the negative marking the previous year, there will be no deduction of marks for an incorrect answer.

Person with Disability 40%
Person with Disability from General Category 45%

  1. On a same day will these 3 papers are held? There is any opt for choosing bio instead of math Or any other options like best of three subjects??
