MHT CET 2018 Application Form – The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra State conducts the MH CET / MHT CET 2018 to shortlist candidates for admissions to the first year B.E/B. Tech programmes.
The MH CET / MHT CET 2018 is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in the 3rd week of May 2018. The admissions to the Maharashtra state engineering colleges were done through JEE Main for the years 2014 and 2015, but for the upcoming academic year of 2018.

The DTE may conduct its own, one exam for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses in the state of Maharashtra. Those students, who have cleared their class XII or equivalent and wish to pursue undergraduate programmes in Maharashtra engineering colleges, are eligible to apply for MHT CET 2018.
MHT CET 2018 Application process
If you wish to apply for the MHT CET 2018 you will have to register and apply for it.
Step 1: Do note that the application form for the same can be purchased along with the brochure in cash via the college/school where you are currently studying. The school or college you are currently studying it will submit the collected application fees in a single DD and will pay it at the notified center. Post the transaction is done, the school is given the application forms and brochures to then be given to the students.
The cost for the applicants form for open category is around 700/- INR while the same for Backward Class Candidates is 500/- INR.
Step 2: Post receiving the issued application forms and exam brochures you will then require to fill in Online Form of MHT CET 2018 by making use of the application number from the application kit to log in and apply. Do note that you have to fill in all your complete and valid information in the MHT CET 2018 application form.
Step 3: You will then be required to print two copies of the submitted online application form and sign it along you’re your parents and submit it to the school/college.
A copy signed by the Principal of the school/college along with the seal of the institution will then be returned to the you as the proof of receipt and as well as the Identity Card.
Instructions for students from outside Maharashtra who wish to take MHT CET 2018 Engineering:
Step 1: You can make avail of the application form via any of the notified centers by submitting a Demand Draft of 700/- INR and 500/- INR for Maharashtra Backward Class Category candidates in the name of “Director, Technical Education, Mumbai” payable at “Mumbai”.
Step 2: Do note that the application process is the same as for those students who are studying in Maharashtra.
Step 3: You will then have to take two copies of the online application form duly filled in and submitted online. You will have to sign the printouts along with your parents and submit it to the nearest notified college.
Modes of paying the Application fees:
You can complete the transaction via cash if you are studying in Maharashtra and in DD if you are outside Maharashtra.
