MHT CET 2018 Counselling Details – Registration Procedure and Schedule

MHT CET 2018 Counselling will be conducted by The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. MHT CET 2018 to be conducted from June 2018.

Candidates must register online mode to attend the counselling session. This counselling will be conducted through a Centralised Counselling Process.

Seats will be allocated only for those candidates who have registered and they will be shortlisted according to their ranking in the merit list. All the candidates who have successfully registered can participate in process of MHT CET 2018 Counselling. Seat allotment will be done strictly on the basis of score secured by candidates in the entrance test.

    MHT CET 2018 Counselling Registration Process

    All the candidates must register themselves for MHT CET 2018 counselling by providing required details. The registration process for MHT CET 2018 is expected to be conducted tentatively in the month of July 2018. We have included the details for MHT CET 2018 point by point below. Take a look at this.

    (Candidates must notice that the following information is based on the previous year method and statistics).

    1. Registration:

    All the candidates register themselves for MHT CET 2018 in online mode. Click on ‘New Registration’ button. After these candidates need to select their nationality.

    1. Registration Form Filling:

    Candidates must fill all the details such as Personal, Communication, and Security. A password must be created by the candidate. We have included the detail which comes under in Personal, Communication, and Security details.

    • Personal Details:

      1. Name of the applicant.
      2. Mother’s Name.
      3. Father’s Name.
      4. Gender of the applicant.
      5. Religion.
      6. The region of the applicant.
      7. Mother Tongue.
      8. Annual Income of the family.
    • Communication Details:

      1. Complete address of the candidate.
      2. Mobile Number.
      3. E-Mail ID.
    • Security Question Details:

    1. Choose a Security Question.
    2. Provide an Answer to the Security Question.
    • Choosing a Password:

    Candidates must choose/ create a password by following password policies.

    • Password must be 8-13charecter long.
    • Password must have at least one upper case alphabet.
    • Password must have at least one lower case alphabet.
    • Password must have at least one numeric value.
    • Password must have at least one special character e.g.,!@#$%^&*-.
    1. Details of Candidate Type:

    All the candidates must select their candidature type by the following method. Selection must be done from the given categories only.

    MaharashtraType A: 

    In this category, there will be candidates who have completed their SSC (Std. X)/ HSC (Std. XII)/ Diploma/ B.Sc from Maharashtra state and the respected candidates must be from Maharashtra state on born in Maharashtra state.

    Maharashtra Type B: 

    If the candidate is not Type A; candidate’s father/ mother should be from the state of Maharashtra. This will be Type B.

    Maharashtra Type C:

    If the candidate does not satisfies Type A & Type B. The respected candidate’s father or mother should be appointed by Government of India or Government of Maharashtra as an employee in the state of Maharashtra before the last date for submission of Application form.

    Maharashtra Type D:

    Candidates do not satisfy Type A, Type B, and Type C. But the candidate’s father or mother is a retired employee of Government of Maharashtra or any firm that undertook by Government of Maharashtra.

    Maharashtra Type F:

    Candidates who qualify SSC (Std. X)/ HSC (Std. XII)/ Diploma/ B.sc from any recognised institute located at any rural area near Maharashtra – Karnataka border and must be mother tongue is Marathi

    Maharashtra Type G:

    Candidates who qualify SSC (Std. X)/ HSC (Std. XII)/ Diploma/ B.sc from any recognised institute located at any rural area near Maharashtra – Karnataka border and must be mother tongue is Marathi

    MHT CET 2018 Counselling for OMS: 

    OMS means a candidate Outside Maharashtra State and having a proper nationality.

    J&K Migrant Applicant:

    There will be three types of Jammu and Kashmir migrants. Those are. J1 Type/ J2 Type/ J3 Type.

    Foreign Students:

    Foreign National/ Foreign Students.

    NRI:

    Non Resident Indian (NRI) candidate.

    PIO/ OCI:

    Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).

    CIWGC:

    Children of Indian Workers in Gulf.

    GoI:

    Government of India (GoI) applicant.

    1. Details of qualification:

    Now, candidates must provide their marks obtained in SSC and HSC subject wise. Candidates must provide the name of the board which conducted their SSC and HSC examinations.

    1. Details of Examination

    All the candidates must submit their examination details by MHT CET 2018 while registering for MHT CET 2018.

    1. Uploading of Scanned Images

    All the candidates must submit their scanned photograph and signature as per how DTE asked to provide. The details are given below.

    1. Counselling Fee Payment

    As per the category of candidate, each candidate needs to pay the fees for counselling through online mode. Details are given below.

    1. MHT CET 2018 Document Verification

    All the candidates who have successfully registered must visit Facilitation Centres (FCs) for verification of documents. Candidates must bring the following documents for verification.

    1. 10thStandard Pass Certificate & Mark Sheet.
    2. 12thStandard Pass Certificate & Mark Sheet.
    3. MHT CET Result 2018.
    4. Character Certificate.
    5. Migration Certificate.
    6. Category Certificate (if applicable).
    7. School Leaving Certificate.
    8. Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra (if applicable).
    9. MHT CET Admit Card 2018.

    MHT CET 2018 Seat Allotment

    Seats for all the candidates will be allotted online mode.  According to the rank obtained in merit list by the candidates will be they getting the seats allotted. This list of allotted applicants will be released online.

    All the applicants who have got allotted their seats must report at their institute to confirm their seats. Payment of tuition fee must be provided by the candidate on the day of admission.
