MH PGM PGD CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

A Notification would be published by a Competent Authority regarding online or Scan able process. An Information Brochure which has the complete admission procedure for postgraduate courses would be made available on website of DMER that is www.dmer.org.

Any of you willing to take admission to the Maharashtra colleges through PGM PGD CET would have to submit the prescribed online application form. The cost of this online application form at the Maharashtra PGM PGD CET and examination fee is Rs.3000 + Rs.60/- as Bank charges. This amount is not refundable. You need to fulfill the following criteria:

You need to be an Indian National. Those who have cleared final MB.B.S. Examination and completed or completing one year internship training by 31st March of that year from a recognized medical college included in the Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and is located in Maharashtra are eligible.

Those of you who have cleared MBBS from foreign University are not eligible. The MCI/MMC registration is mandatory for appearing at PGM PGD-CET. Those of you who are domiciled in Maharashtra and who have gained admission under 15% quota for All India Pre Medical Test Entrance Examination (AIPMT) for MBBS course in the medical college outside Maharashtra State and who have gained the degree from a University outside the State of Maharashtra are eligible for PGM PGD CET.

If you belong to Backward Class, an online/Computerized Schnabel application form needs to be claimed, else claim stands invalid.

Those of you belonging to Backward Class Category (OBC) should produce the Caste Validity, Certificate Caste Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate during Document Verification process.

MH PGM PGD CET 2017 Application Form

The MH PGM PGD CET 2017 Application Form procedure is mentioned below:

PGM-CET is organized at Mumbai, Aurangabad, Pune and Nagpur centers. You have the liberty to choose the center for examination as per your choice and convenience and indicate the same in online application form/Scanned Application form for In-Service individuals. If this choice is made, it will be final and binding.

The Competent Authority will evaluate the answers and declare the provisional result or marks scored by you on DMER website on mentioned date. You must login at website www.dmer.org to go through their provisional result/marks. The final state merit list is generated after complete verification and mark procedure and is uploaded.

MH PGM PGD CET 2017 Exam Pattern

The MH PGM PGD CET 2017 Exam Pattern is as follows:

Maharashtra PGM CET is an objective type multiple choice test which consists of 300 questions to be completed in 3.5 hours. While, Maharashtra PGD CET is also an objective type multiple choice test which consists of 100 questions to be completed in 1.5 hours.

Each question is multiple choice question or objective type with four answer options. Every correct answer gains one mark. There would be no negative marking for wrong answers.

This MH PGM PGD CET would be of MBBS Examination standard and would cover all the subjects of MBBS Course.

MH PGM PGD CET 2017 Preparation Tips

You are advised to Practice your problem areas and clear your doubts as much as possible Practice the previous year booklets and sample papers and from mock-test papers available in market. Make separate notes of Formulae and practice all the diagrams of biology carefully labeling etc.

Read newspaper daily and watch news every-day for the daily current news as general knowledge and revise theory on daily basis for clear facts. Continuous study can be mentally unsupportive so it is important to take short breaks during study. Also follow the time limits as per exam so as be confident about your performance within given time.

Avoid reading too many subjects on same day and follow the one by one policy.
