MHT CET Counselling 2018 – Procedure, Schedule

MHT CET 2018 Counselling will be conducted by The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. MHT CET 2018 to be conducted from June 2018. Candidates must register online mode to attend the counselling session. This counselling will be conducted through a Centralised Counselling Process.

will be conducted by The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. MHT CET 2018 is expected to be conducted in May 2018. Candidates must register online mode to attend the counselling session. This counselling will be conducted through a Centralised Counselling Process.

  1. Registration:

All the candidates register themselves for MHT CET 2018 in online mode. Click on ‘New Registration’ button. After these candidates need to select their nationality.

  1. Registration Form Filling:

Candidates must fill all the details such as Personal, Communication, and Security. A password must be created by the candidate. We have included the detail which comes under in Personal, Communication, and Security details.

  • Personal Details:
    1. Name of the applicant.
    2. Mother’s Name.
    3. Father’s Name.
    4. Gender of the applicant.
    5. Religion.
    6. The region of the applicant.
    7. Mother Tongue.
    8. Annual Income of the family.
  • Communication Details:
    1. Complete address of the candidate.
    2. Mobile Number.
    3. E-Mail ID.
  • Security Question Details:
  1. Choose a Security Question.
  2. Provide an Answer to the Security Question.
  • Choosing a Password:

Candidates must choose/ create a password by following password policies.

  • Password must be 8-13charecter long.
  • Password must have at least one upper case alphabet.
  • Password must have at least one lower case alphabet.
  • Password must have at least one numeric value.
  • Password must have at least one special character e.g.,!@#$%^&*-.
  1. Details of Candidate Type:

All the candidates must select their candidature type by the following method. Selection must be done from the given categories only.

MaharashtraType A: 

In this category, there will be candidates who have completed their SSC (Std. X)/ HSC (Std. XII)/ Diploma/ B.Sc from Maharashtra state and the respected candidates must be from Maharashtra state on born in Maharashtra state.

Maharashtra Type B: 

If the candidate is not Type A; candidate’s father/ mother should be from the state of Maharashtra. This will be Type B.

Maharashtra Type C:

If the candidate does not satisfies Type A & Type B. The respected candidate’s father or mother should be appointed by Government of India or Government of Maharashtra as an employee in the state of Maharashtra before the last date for submission of Application form.

Maharashtra Type D:

Candidates do not satisfy Type A, Type B, and Type C. But the candidate’s father or mother is a retired employee of Government of Maharashtra or any firm that undertook by Government of Maharashtra.

Maharashtra Type F:

Candidates who qualify SSC (Std. X)/ HSC (Std. XII)/ Diploma/ B.sc from any recognised institute located at any rural area near Maharashtra – Karnataka border and must be mother tongue is Marathi

Maharashtra Type G:

Candidates who qualify SSC (Std. X)/ HSC (Std. XII)/ Diploma/ B.sc from any recognised institute located at any rural area near Maharashtra – Karnataka border and must be mother tongue is Marathi

MHT CET 2018 Answer Key

MHT CET 2018 results will be determined by calculating marks obtained on the basis of final answer keys. MHT CET 2018 Answer keys will be published in May 2018 by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.

  • All the candidates can download their Question Papers and Answer Keys of MHT CET 2018 from the official web page of DTE, Maharashtra as per the dates are given above.
  • To calculate/ estimate score obtained; candidates must tally answers against MHT CET 2018 answer key of the same set/ version as the question booklet they’ve.
  • DTE, Maharashtra will publish the OMR Answer Sheets also online. Candidates can file complaints against MHT CET 2018 Answer Keys if there is any question paper or typographical errors.
  • The results of MHT CET 2018 will be published in June of 2018. Candidates can check their results of MHT CET 2018 at the official web page of DTE, Maharashtra.

MHT CET 2018 OMR Sheet Display


The 
MHT CET 2018 Answer Key OMR Sheet will be declared in May 2018. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai which organises MHT CET on behalf of State Government of Maharashtra will Upload MHT CET 2018 OMR Answer Sheets of Applicant soon after the entrance exam which will be held in May 2018. The following are the steps to check MHT CET OMR Sheet 2018:-

  1. Open MHT CET 2018 official online portal.
  2. Click on the Applicant Login Link.
  3. Enter MHT CET 2018 Application Number, Password, Security Key and Press Login Button.
  4. MHT CET 2018 OMR Answer Sheet Appears on Screen
  5. View, Save, Print and Download your MHT CET 2018 Scanned OMR Answer Sheet

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will issue the OMR Sheet for the candidates to check answers of MHT CET 2018. The candidates need to log in to their accounts on the official website in order to get the MHT CET 2018 OMR Sheet. Make sure that the application number and password is correct.

Students can follow the procedure listed above to view their answer sheets. While MHT CET non-late applications for 2018 had closed in March 2018 candidates can still apply against a payment of Rs. 500. MHTCET application correction window is open now from March.

MHT CET 2018 Result Engineering

The MH CET 2018 Result will be announced on or before 1st week of June 2018. Candidates can view their respected result online from the official portal itself. A merit list will be prepared separately for all the courses on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the entrance test in order to carry out admission process.

Candidates should take the printout of the result and keep it safe till the admission procedure. The authority shall invite the application for admissions after the verification of documents & eligibility. Ranks will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test and the counselling round will be done according to the same.

  • MHT CET 2018 Result will be declared by DTE Maharashtra in June 2018.
  • The result of MHT CET 2018 shall be indicated in the percentage that can be checked here and at the official website.
  • Merit list is prepared as per marks obtained in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test and published for all candidates.
  • To check MHT CET Result, you will need to log in and access his / her account at the MHT CET account and download mark sheet.

MHT CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Those of you who are interested ought to satisfy the conditions laid down below by the conducting authority in order to be eligible. The MHT CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria are mentioned below:

  • If you desire to apply you need to have completed your Higher Secondary Examination or 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognised Board in order to be eligible.
  • You need to be a citizen of India to be eligible for the examination.
  • Those of you who have secured an aggregate of 50% of marks in their qualifying examination for general category and 40% of marks in case of SC/ ST/ PH applicants.
  • You need to be at least 17 years of age in order to apply.

Those of you who have satisfied the eligibility criteria can only apply for the examination. Steps to apply for MHT CET 2018 Application Form are as below:

  • You will have to fill the application form online on the website dte.org.in
  • You will have to collect the Application Kit from the Junior College as described above as per schedule.

MHT CET 2018 Engineering Application Fees

  • The application fee is Rs.800 for general category candidates
  • The application fee is Rs. 600 for SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC & PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only.
  • The fee payment is made through Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
  • Candidates are suggested to keep the printouts of the application form for further use.
  • You then have to click on “Apply Online” and log in using Application Kit Number & Password provided in the Application Kit.
  • You will need to fill in your personal, qualification, contact and other details as mentioned in the application form and save it.
  • After filling the form you will need to upload your recent scanned passport size photograph and signature and confirm the Online Application Form by clicking “Confirm Application From” button.
  • You have to take two printouts of the application form duly signed by the parents and submit it to your respective college/ school.

MHT CET 2018 Admit Card

The MHT CET 2018 Admit Card will be available to download from April 2018. Candidates can download the admit card through the official website of the authority with their respective candidate login. The admit card will contain information like candidates name & roll number, exam centre, exam date & timing. It is mandatory that the candidate brings their admit card along with any one photo ID proof at the time of examination day. The following are some details need to follow by the candidates:-

  • PAN Card
  • Indian Passport
  • Driving License
  • Voter’s Card
  • Bank Passbook with Photograph
  • Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead along with photograph
  • Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead along with photograph
  • Recent Identity Card issued by a recognised School/College/Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar Card with a photograph.

MHT CET 2018 Exam Pattern

The Exam Pattern helps you prepare for the exam better. The details of the MHT CET 2018 Exam Pattern are enlisted below.

  • The total duration of the exam is 3 hours.
  • The paper comprises of 200 multiple choice objective type questions.
  • No marks will be deducted for any incorrect answer and 1 mark will be added for each correct answer.
  • The structure of for MT CET is as follows:

Generally, in MH CET examination, the questions is asked from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects.
