NEET Counselling Procedure 2019- National Testing Agency has announced an important update regarding NEET 2019 that states that it will be conducted once in a year only like previous years. Earlier on 7th July 2018, MHRD released a press release saying the NEET 2019 exam will be conducted twice a year. In order to appear in NEET Counselling Procedure 2019, the applicants are supposed to complete the formalities of online registration by simply mentioning the basic information. Those who do not follow this and skip the process of online registration will not be allowed to appear in the NEET Counselling Procedure 2019. Once the registration will be completed, the applicants will get the User ID and Password that will be automatically generated and sent to the registered contact number and email address of the candidates. The applicants are suggested to retain these credentials of registration for further use.
Filling of Choice and Locking
After online registration, the applicants will have to choose the courses and programmes of their choice in the preferred medical or dental colleges. Once this information is provided by the candidates, they need to tap on the save tab and lock their preferences. Note that locking the choices or preferences is the mandate from the authority and the applicants need to do it.
Allotment of Seats
Once the candidates complete the online registration and fill their preferences of courses and colleges, they will get the intimation in the form of the text message or email mentioning the details of the finally allotted seat that is the course and the college. Note that the applicants will get the seat on the grounds of their ranking, score and the preference of college or course.
Reporting to the College:
After the final counselling result will be announced, the applicants are supposed to report to the college that will be allotted by the authority as per their preference, ranking, and score in NEET 2019. The candidates also need to send their confirmation of the seat by depositing the programme fee. In case, the applicants will fail to deposit the fee within the given time and report the given college, the authority reserves the right to allot the seat to some other candidate.
NEET Admission Process 2019
Once the final allotment of the seats is done, the candidates will have to report to the college allotted to them within the given time else their admission process will be halted. At the time of NEET admission procedure 2019, the applicants are supposed to carry some necessary documents in original and photocopies for the purpose of verification.
