MAT 2017 Exam Pattern

MAT 2017 Exam Pattern – The Management Aptitude Test commonly known as MAT is held four times in a year in the months of January, May, September and December. The minimum necessary qualification to be deemed eligible for this examination is graduation via any recognized university or an equivalent recognized degree. Those students who are currently pursuing their final-year can also appear for MAT provisionally. Usually there is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation which is different for different MI’s/universities. The salient features of the MAT exam are that it’s conducted as an entrance test for highly recognized programmes and is time tested over a decade. It’s validated through independent studies and is accepted by hundreds of Institutes and University Departments. It employs the use of latest technology in evaluation and result processing and has individual score card with the candidates photograph on it. It also has a widespread network for the sale of bulletins for lower cost which is inclusive of registration as well as test fees. The test centres are located all over the country as well as abroad.

MAT 2017 Paper Pattern

The MAT 2017 exam will have a total of 200 questions carrying one park per question, The duration of the paper will be for around 150 minutes. For each correct attempt the candidate gets a mark and for each in correct attempt thre will be negative  marking.

The MAT 2017 exam pattern is of the objective type and contains multiple choices to answer the question. It consists of 5 sections namely Mathematical skills, Critical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and Data interpretation and Indian and Global Environment

The scores will be based on the first four sections only and the decision to consider the scores of the GA section depends on the institutes.

It’s a computer based test thus the candidates will have to submit the answer via Keyboard or mouse. The student is advised to attend the test carefully by preparation and the instructions to attend the test will be given before attending.
