Master’s Degree in Marketing Management – Part Time

Master’s Degree in Marketing Management generally known as MMM Course is a postgraduate programme in marketing management affiliated by the University of Mumbai. The part time course comprises of six semesters spread over 3 years. The programme exposes the students with theoretical, practical and functional aspects of management like marketing research, Retail marketing, online marketing, IT marketing, Industrial marketing and so on. The basic objective of the Masters Programme in Marketing Management (MMM) is to provide to the country a steady stream of competent young men and women with the necessary knowledge, skills and foundations for acquiring a wide range of rewarding profession into the rapidly increasing world of Marketing. This course will help candidates to gain skills not only in mere marketing but also in the application of marketing principles in management. Applicants will get experience on the marketing management of small and medium scale enterprises during their summer internship which will help them to usually perform well in the role of Marketing Managers.

MMM Course Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have Bachelor’s degree of this University in any faculty or of a recognized University with five years executive (non-clerical) experience in any of the related areas of Marketing can apply for this course.


Applicants must have a degree of this University in any faculty or from a recognised University and possess a recognised qualification such as ACA, AICWA, AMIE, CAIIB, etc. and must have minimum two Years work experience (non-clerical) can apply for this course.


Applicants must have a degree of this University in any faculty or a recognised University in first or second class and have a minimum two years work experience (non-clerical) after graduation.


A Post-graduate degree or diploma awarded by recognised institutions and have a maximum two years work experience (non-clerical)

Every candidate must have

  • Passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination in any faculty of this University or an examination recognised by this University as equivalent thereto and
  • Acquired a minimum two years work experience (supervisor, executive) the experience is counted from the day subsequent to the last day of the qualifying examination passed by the candidate.
  • Candidate who has passed the D.M.S. examination of this University and is desirous of joining 3 years (Part-time) M.H.R.D.M., M.F.M. & M.M.M. degree course of this University be University and is desirous of joining 3 years (Part-time) M.H.R.D.M., M.F.M. & M.M.M. degree course of this University be exempted from keeping terms and appearing at the first year of the respective course i.e. M.F.M., M.H.R.D.M. and M.M.M. courses as the case may be subject to the candidate having 3 years executive experience and fulfill the criteria laid down for admission to the concerned degree course
