MAH CET 2017 MBA Eligibility Criteria

  • The next important question that will be crossing your mind is whether or not you’re eligible to apply for MAH CET 2017. so lets clear that doubt.
    • If you wish to apply for the exam you must ensure that you should be in the age group between 21 years and 25 years only.
    • You should be a graduate in any discipline from an institute or university recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) having a minimum 50% score in total. Only Maharashtra state aspirants who belong to the backward class categories and persons with disability are permitted to apply with a score sheet of minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
    • If you are in the finally year of graduation also you are deemed eligible to apply.

    You should note that the MAH CET 2017 MBA entrance exams in Mahasrashtra is conducted in an online format i.e a compute based test.

MAH CET 2017 MBA Application Form

You should note that the DTE Maharashtra will accept only online registration for the MAH CET 2017 MBA. The DTE Maharashtra spokesperson advised all of you who aspire to apply to follow the process of admission as instructed on the dedicated Online Application System.

The registering form available on DTE Maharashtra site needs the your personal details such as name, address, phone number and e-mail ID, educational qualifications etc. You will also be required to upload your photograph and signature in a JPEG file.

You are also directed to verify the form for correct information, changes may be made before submitting the form online. You will then be given a registration ID and password. Once the form is submitted online, the application process is completed. For future reference, a print copy of the form should be maintained by you.

The cost of the form is as follows: Rs. 1000 for the general category candidates and for the scheduled tribe and caste candidates it is Rs.800. You can complete the MAH CET 2017 MBA application process by making the payment either through an e- challan or an online- payment.

MAH CET 2017 MBA Exam Pattern

Its very important to know about the exam pattern so that you can prepare much better. You should note that the MAH CET exam pattern 2017 will be encompassing multiple choice objective type questions in the expanses of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical/Abstract Reasoning.

You will be required to answer a total of 200 questions to be answered within a duration of two and half hours (i.e. One hundred and fifty minutes) so you will need to really speed up! The question paper is set in the English language only so you will have to ensure that you’re comfort level with it as no other language translations are available. Even though the examination is free from negative marking a high number of incorrect answers are not appreciated so be careful.

The questions in MAH CET 2017 MBA are divided in 3 sections namely Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (English Language test); Quantitative Aptitude; logical and Abstract Ability. All the questions would be of MCQ kind. You can switch among the 3 sections without sectional time restrictions.

MAH CET 2017 MBA Hall tickets/ admit cards are issued to you on the basis of the information provided at the time of the online registration process. Do note that you will have to go on online on the official website and then download the hall tickets/admit cards. You don’t need to be told that its an important form, which is required at the time of answering the exam, submitting the documents etc.

If you wish to apply on basis of the CAP using the percentile method, registration & further admission processes, you will have to have to compulsorily be registered for the CET. In such a case, you will not be given hall tickets, as you have to take the print copy of your application forms for reference.

Numerous cities in Maharashtra are considered as centers for CET and the location will be decided by DTE basis the number of applications for a particular city. You are given the choice of indicating your center i.e. the city in which you wish to answer your exam but the venue within the city is decided by DTE.

      You need to be between the age group of 21-25years at the time of applying in order to be eligible.

    I am graduating from Bengal. Does JBiMS have limited no of seats for outside state candidates? Or a higher cutoff for outside state candidates?

      Kindly note that a total of 57seats are reserved for candidates who reside outside the state of Maharashtra.
