Madras University M.Sc Admissions 2015 – The University of Madras, Chennai has commenced the admission process into the two-year Master of Science (M.Sc) program in Geoinformatics under Department of Geography for the academic session of 2015-16 and is thus accepting applications via interested as well as eligible candidates to enroll for the same on or prior to the 23rd of October 2015.

The eligibility criteria of a candidate is set on the basis of the educational qualifications the candidates possesses.
Those candidates who wish to apply for the course must enure that they do possess a a BA/B.Sc degree with Geography/ Geology/ Physics/ Environmental Sciences/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Agriculture/Remote Sensing as the main subject of study or Geography as one of the subjects of study with knowledge of Mathematics/ Statistics at least at the +2 level or B.E Civil Engineering or any Information Technology related fields or an examination of any other university or its equivalent.
Those candidates with degrees other than mentioned above will be considered only if they possess an interest, aptitude and relevant experience in the field.

The candidates will be required to send in a Demand Draft amounting to Rs 300 drawn in favour of “The Registrar, University of Madras, Chennai”.
