ULSAT 2019 Notification has been released by the conducting body on 18th September 2018. UPES, one of the pioneer universities in the field of petroleum and energy, conducts an entrance exam for law aspirants to take admission in various law courses in its College of Legal Studies (COLS). It is called ULSAT and the law aspirants eagerly wait for this autonomous exam every year. Its College of Law Studies offers admissions in different courses with various specializations like corporate law, energy specialization, Taxation laws, cyberlaw, and intellectual property. COLS will also conduct ULSAT 2019 entrance exam to grant admission to the successful aspirants in the law programmes. ULSAT application form 2019 has been released on 18th September 2019 along with the official notification. The student will be offered following number of courses in law on the basis of their performance in ULSAT 2019:

    ULSAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

    Following are the ULSAT eligibility criteria for different stream students who wish to apply for ULSAT 2019:

    For BA+LLB (Hons)/BBA+LLB (Hons)/B.Com+LLB (Hons)

    Students who wish to appear ULSAT 2019 with any of the streams i.e. BA, BBA and B.Com then they have to secure at least 50% of the marks in Class 10th and 12th.

    • For B.Sc. LLB (Hons): Students who wish to appear ULSAT 2019 with B.Sc. stream then they have to secure  50% marks in PCM subjects and as well as 50% marks at least in class 10th and 12th exam in order to appear for ULSAT 2019.
    • For LLM course: The student will have to secure an LLB degree with at least 50% marks in class 10th and 12th.

    Eligibility Criteria on the basis of CLAT/LSAT merit

    It is important to note that that student who will secure CLAT 2019 rank up to 10000 or LSAT 2019 score of 60% or more plus if they score 50% marks at least in 10th and 12th exam. Then they will be exempted from ULSAT 2019 exam and they will be given a direct entry in the GD (group discussion) round.

    Eligibility Criteria on the basis of Merit (10th and 12th)

    Those students who will score 85% marks or more in best of 5 subjects in class 10th and 12th with English as a compulsory subject are also exempted from ULSAT 2019. They will be given a direct entry in the GD (group discussion) round.

    Following are the important points related to ULSAT 2019 application form for students

    • In this exam, the students will collect the ULSAT 2019 application form by both the modes i.e. online through the official website and offline at the UPES enrollment office.
    • Students will be required to fill and submit the application form of ULSAT 2019 by any means before the last date of submission.
    • Students will be able to pay the application fee of ULSAT 2019 by way of Demand Draft (DD), Debit card, Credit card, and Net Banking as well.
    • In case of Demand draft, it needs to be drawn in the favor of “UPES Fee Account” payable at New Delhi/Dehradun.

    Important Info about ULSAT Exam 2019

    The student must read the below important points related to ULSAT 2019 for accurate information:

    • The university will send a demo test link to the registered email id of all registered students. The purpose of this demo test is to allow students to have a feel of actual exam like situation and it will make sure that all applicants have complete knowledge about exam procedure.
    • However, the actual link to ULSAT 2019 exam will be sent to the student’s registered email id just 24 hours before the exam. But this will be activated at the exact time and date of the exam ULSAT 2019.

    ULSAT 2019 Exam Pattern

    ULSAT 2019 Admit Card

    The student will be able to download the ULSAT 2019 Admit card from the official website of UPES. To download the admit card of ULSAT 2019, students will be required to enter their application number and date of birth/email id on the official website link provided. Soon after the downloading and printing of ULSAT 2019 admit card students will have to paste the attested passport size photograph at the space provided on the admit card. Here student must note that the photograph should be similar to the one which was uploaded/ paste on the ULSAT application form 2019.

    ULSAT 2019 Result

    The student will be able to check the final result of ULSAT 2019 under the category of “Admission Alert” on the official website of UPES. The student will be able to download their result card by entering their login credentials (username and password) on the official website. Only the Qualified students will be called for the GD and personal interview round, and after then officials will create a final merit list of successful students who will be allowed to take admissions in various law programmes at UPES. 

    ULSAT 2019 Counselling

    As per the merit list and rank, the successful students will be called for ULSAT counselling 2019. The ULSAT authorities will organize the counselling session in 2 sessions. The student will have to ensure their presence in person if they wish to take the admission in law programs at the defined counselling venue in front of the ULSAT 2019 officials. The official will verify the documents/credentials brought by the student at the counselling center thoroughly and then the student will be asked to pay the required fees after which he/she will be allowed to take admission in law programs at COLS.

    Question: From where I can fill the application form of ULSAT 2019. Can I fill it offline?

    Answer:  Yes you can. The student may fill the ULSAT 2019 application form in both ways i.e. through online or even offline by collecting the form from the registered office of ULSAT.

    Question: Do we have to buy the sample papers to prepare for ULSAT 2019?

    Answer:  Although the university will provide the sample papers to their registered email id it is highly recommended start preparing for the exam well before through good books available in the market.
