MNLUAT 2019 – The application process for MNLUAT 2019 exam is now closed, the candidates had to submit the application form from 1 January to 31 March 2019. MNLU is a National Law University located in the commercial city of India i.e. Mumbai. MNLU full form is Maharashtra National Law University. The purpose of the establishment of this university was to promote and develop legal education and legal advancement in the state of Maharashtra and allow specialized and systematic education to law aspirants. In the UG program, MNLU offers a 5 year integrated B.A plus LL. B (Hons.) course and in case of LL.M. PG program the duration is only 1 year. To be the part and study in MNLU’s law department, the students earlier had to appear for MNLUAT, but from last few years, the admissions in the law department of MNLU are done through CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). The candidates will have to now appear in the CLAT 2019 which is scheduled to be held on 13 May 2019.     MNLUAT 2019 Application Process

    The authorities will release the CLAT application form 2019 through online mode and the successful students in CLAT 2019 will be allowed to take admission in MNLU. The student will have to keep in mind that there is no offline mode to register for CLAT 2019. Students will have to upload the scanned copies of self-attested credentials/certificates/documents in the CLAT application form 2019 anywhere necessary. Below is the process ‘how to apply for CLAT 2019’ through online mode:

    1. The student will have to visit the official website of CLAT 2019
    2. The student will be required to click on the link ‘CLAT application form 2019’.
    3. Now student will be asked to fill the required details in the CLAT application form 2019.
    4. The student will have to upload the scanned copies of self-attested credentials/certificates/documents in the CLAT application form 2019.
    5. The student will now have to remit the specified fee payment
    6. The student is advised to take a printout of the CLAT application form 2019 and save it for future references. 

    MNLUAT Application Fee 2019

    A student while filling the CLAT application form 2019 will be required to deposit or submit the fee of application form through online mode i.e. debit/credit card & net banking and offline mode. Below is the table which specifies the fee details for different category of a student in CLAT 2019.

    Important Documents: MNLUAT 2019

    Following are the required documents which the student will have to gather and arrange while filling up the CLAT application form 2019;

    • A front face clicked passport size photo (with a defined size of 30 mm x 45 mm) in jpg format.
    • Students’ signature scanned image in jpg format (defined 100 kb size).
    • If applicable the SAP certificate & SDF (Scribe Declaration Form)
    • A working valid email ID and with an Indian mobile number.
    • Students’ personal and educational qualification details.
    • Payment mode.

    MNLUAT Reservation 2019

    • The criteria of the reservation will be based on the Reservation policy of Government of Maharashtra.
    • In the courses of B.Com. + LL.B (Hons.)/ B.A. + LL.B (Hons.) the total number of the reserved seats will be more than 50 and in case of foreign nationals/ NRI the total seats will be 10.
    • And in case of the LL.M course, the total number of seats is 10. And for Foreign Nationals or NRI Sponsored it will be 2 seats.
    • Seats will be reserved for students belongs to SC/ De-notified tribes/ ST/ nomadic trides/ OBC/BC category.
    • The distribution of seats reserved for the various category as follows:

    MNLU B.A LL.B (Hons.) Admission 2019

    To take the admission in B.A + LL.B (Hons.) MNLU course, the student will have to appear for CLAT 2019 and secure a merit list. The student will have to pass a class 12th exam from a recognized board to be eligible to take admission in the undergraduate law program. CLAT applications will be filled only through the online mode. Total marks of the CLAT entrance exam will be 200 marks. The CLAT exam 2019 duration will be 2 hours (120 minutes) and each question will carry one mark each for every correct answer. There will be 0.25 marks as negative marking for every wrong answer. The questions will be in MCQs format.

    MNLU B.A LL.B (Hons.) Eligibility Criteria: MNLUAT 2019

    In case of SC/ST category of students, they will have to secure a minimum of 40% marks.
    Students who are appearing in class 12th or equivalent exam in March/April 2019 are also eligible to appear in the CLAT 2019.
      There is no maximum age limit for CLAT 2019  
    B.An LL.B (Hons.)/ NRI or foreign national or NRI sponsored category students The student should be less than 20 years of age as on July 1, 2019  NA
      The student will have to pass HSC/intermediate or equivalent examination from a foreign education board recognized by the university with minimum 45% marks  

    Important Information: MNLUAT 2019

    Following important information for the MNLUAT 2019 will be given below for aspirants;

    • The final list of the selected aspirants will be displayed on the official website of the University for Admissions in 5-year integrated law program.
    • Only those students who will pass class 12th exam/qualifying examination can register for admission in B.A. LL.B. program.
    • Students will be finally selected for admission in MNLU B.A. LL.B. program on the basis of marks scored in the CLAT 2019 examination.
    • For General/ OBC/ SAP category student, they will have to register themselves for CLAT 2019 by submitting the prescribed application form along with the CLAT fee 2019 of INR. 4000/- amount and in case of SC/ST category students, they will have to submit the application form along with CLAT 2019 fee of INR. 3500/-.
    • Fees can be remitted through any of the mode i.e. online or offline. International/Foreign students will have to register themselves by submitting the application fee amount through DD (Demand Draft) of Rs. 5000/-.

    How to Apply through CLAT 2019 for MNULAT 2019

    • The student will have to go to the official CLAT website www.clat.ac.in first and then register themselves through CLAT Online Application Processing System.
    • After successful registration, the student will receive a CLAT 2019 User ID and Password in CAPS form on their registered e-mail address and the mobile number provided by them.
    • The student will be able to enter into the CLAT 2019 application form link only with their official User ID and password. Now the student will have to fill the CLAT online application form 2019 and also upload scanned photograph, birth certificate, signature, and category certificate over there.
    • The student will then click to the link “Payment of the Application Fee” where the fee can be submitted either online or through Challan. General category/SAP/OBC students will submit the application fee of INR 4000/- and in case of SC/ST category students, they will have to pay Rs. 3500/-.
    • Students who wish to remit the fee through offline mode will be able to generate a Bank Challan through the official website, they can take its printout and submit the fee through it, in cash, to any of the ICICI bank branches.
    • Once the payment will be made and successful, the same will be updated in the students’ profile on the CLAT Online Application 2019 Interface.
    • After successful submission, the student is advised to download the completely filled CLAT application form 2019 for future references

    For International candidates:

    • Foreign nationals/International students can register themselves by downloading and submitting the CLAT application form 2019 along with the application fee of Rs. 5000/- through Demand Draft. Foreign students must note that the DD will be drawn in favor of ‘Registrar, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University’ and payable at Visakhapatnam.
    • Foreign students will have to submit the completed application form, along with the fee and necessary attachments in person or by post, within the specified time at the following address:

    Appendices for Indian students: MNLUAT 2019

    • Vital personal information like E-mail address, date of birth, mobile number, parent’s mobile number, etc.
    • Address of correspondence with PIN code
    • Vital academic details like % of marks/CGPA, college/ University info.
    • UG Course or PG Program details in which the student wants to appear
    • CLAT examination cities choices (Three)
    • Front facing Passport size perfect photo of the student
    • A clear signature of the student

    Appendices for NRI/ foreign nationals Students: MNLUAT 2019

    • Copy of the Student / Sponsor’s Passport.
    • Character certificate from last attended institution
    • College leaving Certificate/ School leaving Certificate
    • Mark sheets of the qualifying examination i.e. 10th standard/PUC/Intermediate/HSC percentage/conversion certificate in case of Grades.
    • Photo Copy of Birth Certificate.

    • 8 passport Size Photos of the student
    • 1 photo of the Local Guardian (who shall be a close relative of the student)

    LL.M Admission: MNLUAT 2019

    Students who will hold a valid graduate degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for LLM admissions. MNLU offers admission in 1 year postgraduate LL.M. program. Students will able to submit the form through online mode only. The student will be able to get admissions in LLM course on the basis of performance in the CLAT 2019 exam. MNLUAT LLM Counseling 2019 will be conducted at the university campus.

      The student will have to produce the proof of their qualification at the time of counselling and admission.  
      There is no maximum age limit for PG courses in CLAT 2019  
      Those students whose exam results are awaiting or they will appear in the qualifying examination in March/April 2019 are also eligible to appear in CLAT-2019  

    Application Process LLM: MNLUAT 2019
