Mode of Examination
The university will organize the IPU CET Law 2019 exam in the third week of May 2019 through offline mode where the aspirants need to use the pen and paper to tick mark the answers.
Duration of the Exam
The time duration of the IPU CET law entrance exam 2019 that will be organized by GGSIPU will be 150 minutes and the candidates need to complete all the sections of the paper within this time duration only. Note that the applicants that come under reserved category will not be given any extra time to solve the paper.
Number and Type of Questions
The applicants should be ready to answer total 150 questions in the exam paper and all of them will be of multiple choice types.
IPU CET Law exam 2019 will be of total 600 marks as every question will be of four marks.
Each question in the paper will contain the objective type questions where there will be multiple options for every question and the applicants are supposed to rick mark one right answer. For every right answer, the applicant will be granted four marks and for every incorrect response, the candidate will have to bear the negative marking of 1 mark. Apart from this, if the applicants will select more than one option in the question, it will be considered as the wrong attempt and the negative marking will be there.
There are total four subjects in IPU CET Law exam paper and the total number of questions will be 150 that are multiple choice or objective type. The four sections of the paper are given below:

- General Knowledge
- Legal Aptitude

Each section of the IPU CET Law paper will contain total 25 questions and the total percentage for each part of the paper will also be 25.

English Grammar and Comprehension: In this section, the ability of the candidates in English grammar and comprehension will be tested. The topics that come under English Language and Comprehension section of the paper are Narration, Comprehension, Prepositions, Articles, Sentence Construction etc.
General Knowledge: This section of the exam paper will evaluate the candidates’ general awareness and the questions that come in this part of the paper involve the topics of Science and Technology, International Affairs, Geography and Natural Resources, National Culture and History and Current National Events.
Reasoning Ability: Reasoning part of the examination paper basically measures the thinking ability of the candidates. This section contains the questions related to the Logical and Numerical Reasoning.
Legal Ability: This section of the paper is designed to verify the potential of the applicants in the field of legal aptitude like how they will deal with the law related queries. The questions will cover the topics like General Legal Awareness & Understanding and Legal Principles.
