The exam is conducted by KPPGCA (Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges’ Association) on behalf of the Government of Karnataka.
KMAT scores are used for admission to MBA, PGDM and MCA programmes in more than 169 colleges in Karnataka. Students are admitted on the basis of an entrance test and marks secured in the qualifying exam.
The test consists of objective type questions and contains different papers for MBA/PGDM and MCA.
The Exam Pattern of KMAT 2018 is prescribed via the official exam conducting body which is Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association commonly known as the KPPGCA.

KMAT 2018 Exam Pattern

The KMAT 2018 Exam Pattern will comprise of three parts- Language, Mathematical skills and Basic aptitude. Each part has 40 questions to answer within the duration of 40 minutes.
The total time to attempt the exam is 120 minutes, which means a student has to answer one question in one minute.

- The KMAT Admit Card 2018 will tentatively available to download from the 3rd week of May 2018.
- The KMAT 2018 Admit Card will only be available in online mode.
- After getting the Admit Card, candidates have to paste their passport size photo on the Admit Card.
- At the time of examination, candidates have to compulsorily bring the admit card and a valid ID proof.
