KEAM 2017 Medical Exam Pattern

KEAM 2017 medical exam pattern will give an overview about the exam to the appearing which will help them to prepare for the examination. The exam pattern specifies the length of the exam, language of paper, number and type of questions, marking system, syllabus etc. The KEAM 2017 entrance exam is going to be held in the month of April, 2017 and will be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE). The exam pattern will assist the appearing candidates to organize and plan well in advance for the examination. Candidate will lose 1 mark for every wrong answer attempted and 4 marks will be added for each correct answer. The syllabus of KEAM exam consists of PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) as their subjects. The test is comprises of MCQ’s questions in which candidate will get 4 substitute answer in every question out of which only one answer will be correct.   • The test consists into 2 parts:

Paper 1: Chemistry & Physics

Paper 2: Biology/ Biotechnology

  • The test is in offline mode (pen & paper based) and each paper has 120 multiple choice objective questions.
  • The duration of each paper is 150 minutes.
  • For each right answer 4 marks will be added to the test and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
