How to Apply for KCET 2017 Exam?
The KCET 2017 application form will be available in the ONLINE mode. However, the prospectus can be downloaded from the participating colleges and the institutions of the Karnataka state where the candidates are studying. The candidates need to show the KEA Copy of the Bank Challan to avail the prospectus. In case the candidates are residing in other states, they can get the brochure via SPEED POST.

Step1: Candidates should go on the official website and select the link “CET-2015 UG Online Application” on the official website of KEA.
Step2: Candidates has to search and select the option of “New User? Click Here to Register” on the official website and have to provide all the required information in the candidate registration form.
Step 3: The required information that candidates have to fill in the KCET 2017 Online Application Form is as follows:
- User ID and Password
- Name of Candidate
- Name of Father
- Name of Mother
- Date of Birth
- Contact Mobile Number
- E-mail id
- Secret question
Step 4: Candidates will get the Application Number and User id after filling all the details in the fields on their registered e-mail id or on the registered contact numbers.
Step 5: After receiving the application number and user id, candidates can login to the Online Application Form of KCET 2017 with the help of their application number and password they generated.
Step 6: On successful login, Candidates have to fill the ‘Student Information’ as per the fields provided and the required fields will be:
- Mother Tongue
- Caste of Candidate
- Selection of the examination Centre
- Annual income of the Family
- Qualifying Examination etc.
Step 7: After filling the entries in the KCET Application Form 2017, candidates have to press ‘Save and Next’ for filling all the required information.
Step 8: After successful saving the academic details of Class X and XII, the candidate has to upload the scanned images of their Photograph, signature, and their Left Hand Thumb Impression and Parent Signature and select “save and next’ button.
Step 1: Candidates have to select the option of Bank Challan or e-Post Office, download and take a printout of the challan and make the payment in any of the branch of Central Bank or Axis Bank or Indian Bank or State Bank of Mysore or Syndicate.
Step 2: Candidates has to take the printout of the filled application form. Take the print on A-4 Size sheet of paper afterwards which he/she has to obtain Principal seal and signature from the institutions where he/she has completed or still studying in 2nd PU or 12th Standard or equivalent on the space provided in the printed form.
Required Documents for KCET 2017 Application Form:
- Class XII certificate (if issued)
- Demand Draft of Rs. 650/- for the residence of the Karnataka or Rs. 5,000/- for the NRI candidates in favor of the Director of Karnataka Examination Authority.
KCET Application Form 2017 – Fee Structure
Candidates have to submit the application fee in the form of Demand Draft that will be different for the resident or the non-resident candidates. The Application Fee will be Rs. 650 for the Resident of the Karnataka and Rs.5000 for the Non- resident of the Karnataka.
