UGC NET Result 2019 – National Eligibility Test is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) every year. The examination welcomes the applications for the post of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship for the citizens of the country. UGC NET is conducted once a year. The candidates who are going to appear for the exam can download UGC NET Result 2019 from any of the official websites- or To download UGC NET Result 2019, the candidates have to enter the login credentials i.e. roll number and date of birth. With the introduction of NTA, the regulating body has made several changes in the examination pattern. The examination would be conducted in two phases- Paper 1 and Paper 2.     UGC NET Result 2019- How to Download

    The candidates can download UGC NET Result 2019 from the official website of the examination body.  The candidates can register their problems in answer key. Remember no correction will be done after the declaration of result. UPSC will soon release result for UGC NET 2019.

    • Visit the official website of NTA.
    • Click on that link and you will be redirected to the home page of the conducting authority.
    • Click on UGC NET Result 2019 mentioned on the menu bar.
    • Enter the roll number and date of birth and click on the submit button.
    • Your result will appear on the screen. It would be in PDF format.
    • Download and take out multiple print outs of the same and save it for future reference.

    Procedure of UGC NET Result 2019

    The final selection of the candidates will be based on certain criteria set by the authority. The candidates have the following opportunities on clearing UGC NET 2019.

    • The candidates who will qualify the JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) can pursue research subject in their post-graduation.
    • The big universities, institutes and IIT’s may choose JRF awardees for the full-time research work.
    • For the post of Assistant Professor, the number of candidates to be qualified (Total slots) will be equal to 6% of the candidates who appeared in both the papers of NET.
    • For both Assistant professor and JRF, the candidates must have appeared in both exams and have scored minimum of 40% aggregate marks in both the papers combined together,

    UGC NET Result 2019- Cut off

    Q1. How many papers do I need to qualify?

    Answer- Unlike last year, the candidates have to appear for two exams i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2,

    Q2. In how many subjects NTA will be conducted the exam?

    Answer- The exam will be conducted in 84 subjects in over 91 examination centres across the country,

    Q3.  What is the maximum age limit for the exam?

    Answer- The maximum age has been increased to 30 years. The candidates who are over 30 years of age will not be permitted to take up the exam.

    Q4. What is the validity of UGC NET Score?

    Answer- The validity of UGC NET Score is life-time. However, the score of JRF is valid for 2 years.

    Q5. What is the mode of the exam?

    Answer- The exam would be conducted in online mode i.e. it would be Computer-based test.
