SSC Stenographer 2019 – The staff selection commission conducts exam every year to recruit candidates for the post of stenographer at grade C and D level. The SSC Stenography exam 2019 will be held in the month of February. The candidates interested in working in the public sector for this position must fill their application forms as soon as it releases. Only the candidates who fill the SSC Stenographer Application Form will be allowed to appear for the Exam. The Exam will be of Multiple Choice Question type computer-based online test.  The official notification for the exam will release soon. The candidates must visit the official website of Staff Selection Commission to stay updated with the notification release regarding the SSC Stenographer recruitment 2019. This exam is divided into two stages- the online test and the Stenography skill test. The candidates must qualify both the stages in order to get shortlisted for the job.

    SSC Stenographer Application Form 2019

    The candidates who want to take part in the recruitment procedure must fill the Application Form first. The Application Form for the SSC Stenographer will be announced in the month of October 2019. But before you fill the SSC Stenographer Application Form 2019, you must go through the SSC Stenographer Eligibility criteria set by the Staff Selection Commission to know if you are qualified to take part in the SSC Stenographer 2019. After checking the eligibility criteria fill the application form and submit the application fee before the deadline. The steps to fill the form and submit the fee are mentioned below.

    Instructions for the Application Procedure:

    • Open the Staff Selection Commission website ( ).
    • In the latest notifications, you will see the link to open a new application form.
    • The candidates will fill their credentials in the application form and upload the necessary documents.
    • Recheck the details for any mistakes or untrue information. Do corrections accordingly.
    • The application procedure will complete after the payment of the application fee.
    • The payment of the application fee can be done through net banking or debit/credit card.
    • Lastly, go through all the details again to avoid any errors and click the submit button to complete the application procedure.
    • Download the submitted application form and take print out for further use.

    SSC Stenographer 2019: Application Fee

    • The application fee for all the general category male candidates is Rs.100/-
    • The female candidates and the SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen candidates do not have to pay the application fee.

    SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2019

    The admit card will release a week before the exam is conducted. The candidates will get their Admit Card region-wise by logging in with the registration number and the date of birth. The method to get the admit card is online from the website of Selection Staff Commission. The authority will not provide any hard copy of the admit card personally to any candidate. The date of the release of SSC Stenographer Admit card 2019 will be announced soon in our website once it is officially released on the website of the concerned authority.

    SSC Stenographer Exam pattern and Syllabus 2019

    • The recruitment procedure consists of two stages- the written exam and the Stenographic skill test.
    • Only the candidates who qualify the written exam round will be able to appear for the Stenographic test.
    • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer in the written exam.
    • The exam is bilingual i.e. the candidates can give the exam either in Hindi or English except for the English section.

    SSC Stenographer 2019: Selection Procedure

    • The first step of the SSC Stenographer Recruitment procedure 2019 is the performance in the written exam that will decide the selection of the candidate.
    • The second stage after qualifying the written exam is the skill test/ stenography test where the candidate will be judged on their typing speed in both the languages- Hindi and English.
    • For the grade C position: the typing speed must be 100 words per minute; transcription time- English: 40 minutes, Hindi: 55 minutes.  
    • For the grade D position: the typing speed must be 80 words per minute; transcription time- English: 50 minutes, Hindi: 65 minutes.
    • Candidates must qualify both the written exam and the stenography test to come to the final stage of the recruitment procedure.
    • The candidate will be shortlisted based on the results/cutoff of both these stages.

    SSC Stenographer 2019: Eligibility criteria        

    The SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2019 is the criteria set by the Staff Selection Commission authority. The assessment of the eligibility of the candidates based on the parameters such as the educational qualifications, age restriction and the nationality of the candidate is done to ensure that the candidate is worthy of participating in the recruitment events or not. The candidates are sincerely advised to go through the Eligibility Criteria before registering for the SSC Stenographer 2019 Recruitment.     SSC Stenographer 2019: Cutoff results

    The cut off is released after the declaration of the exam result.  The cut off is released to shortlist the candidates for the next round of the recruitment procedure based on the availability of the seats and the difficulty of the exam. The cutoff of the year 2019 will release after the exam is conducted.     SSC Stenographer 2019: Answer key

    The answer key is released after the exam so the students can assess their performance with the answers that are provided by the Staff Selection Commission. The SSC Stenographer Answer Key 2019 will release on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission where all the answers of the questions that were asked in the SSC Stenographer Exam 2019 will be provided along with the answer attempted by the candidate.  By calculating the correct answers, the candidates can know their potential scores.     SSC Stenographer 2019: Salary

    The salary of the recruited candidate according to his or her grade of the post is different. The total salary of the candidate includes the first salary after the joining and the grade pay is the range of compensation provided to the employees based on elements like location, experience and the rank of the position. Salary also includes dearness allowance and house rent allowance that sums up the entire salary that is also known as the gross salary.
