RRB Group D Syllabus 2019 –   Railway Recruitment Board or RRB will release its syllabus and exam pattern for RRB Group D 2019. The examination offers limited and vacant seats in Indian railways. RRB Group D syllabus and exam pattern will give an idea to the aspirants about the topics, difficulty level of the examination. RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2019- Computer-based Test

    The railway group D exam pattern for CBT is as follows:

    • There would be total 100 questions each consisting of 1 mark.
    • Total duration of the exam is 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes.
    • There would be negative marking as well in the exam, for each incorrect response 1/4th marks will be deducted.
    • The question paper will consist of various topics which are like General Knowledge, Awareness, Mathematics, Reasoning, etc.
    • The exam will be conducted online and questions will be objective in nature.

    RRB Group D Syllabus 2019

    • General Intelligence & Reasoning- It covers major topics like Analogy, Series, Coding & Decoding, Direction & Distance, Blood Relation, Alphabet & Word Test, Venn Diagrams, Missing Numbers, Verbal Reasoning, Non-verbal Reasoning, and Classification.
    • General Awareness & Current Affairs – Current Affairs, Geography, History, Political Science, Economics, miscellaneous topics which include combination of different subjects.
    • English Language- This section includes reading comprehension, verbal section, unseen passages, etc.
    • Mathematics- This section includes all the basic mathematical concepts like Percentages, simplification, Data Interpretation, Number system, Algebra, Averages, Ratio and proportion, Mixture problems, Time and Work, Mensuration, Speed, Time & Distance, Interest, Profit & Loss, Number Series, Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability, etc.

    RRB Selection Process 2019

    After the successful conduction of the exam, the shortlisted candidates have to appear for PET (Physical Endurance Test).

    Female Candidates

    Should be able to lift and carry weight 35 kg for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in only once without putting down.

    Able to lift 20 kg for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in once chance without putting it down.

    Should be able to run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in 1 chance.

    Should be able to run 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.

      The next stage after PET (Physical Endurance Test) is document verification and impaneling of candidates.

    On the basis of performance in CBT, candidates will be shortlisted for document verification. Shortlisted candidates need to produce a NOC from the employer on the date of his/her DV failing which their candidature will be cancelled.  Signature of the candidates on all documents should be identical either in Hindi or English.
