IBPS PO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2019

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019 –  is important for all the candidates to check before applying for the exam. All candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria set by the official authority. If any candidate does not meet the requirements during the recruitment process he/she candidature will be cancelled. There are some specific IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019 for reserved and unreserved candidate. IBPS (Institute for Banking Personnel Selection) conducts IBPS PO 2019 exam to recruit candidates for the positions of Probationary officers and Management Trainees. It recruits the candidates for different public sector banks. This exam is conducted at National level. There are 3 stages for this exam:

Scholarship
  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam
  3. Personal Interview.

Only those candidates will get the offer letter that will clear all the three exams.

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019

    Candidates can check their IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019 here on different parameters:  

    1. Nationality
    • To apply for this exam, a candidate must be citizen of India.
    • Applying candidate can be a subject of Nepal and Bhutan but should satisfy the conditions mandated by the Government of India.
    • Refugees of Tibet can apply, but they should shift to India before January 1, 1962.
    • Candidates of Indian origin who have shifted in India with the intention of permanently settling here i.e. Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Vietnam, Kenya, Malawi, Zaire, Zambia, Ethiopia.

    NOTE: Candidates belonging to last three categories should have their certificate issued by the Government of India. If any candidate fails to show the certificate he/she will not be eligible.

    1. Educational Qualification
    • Candidate must have graduate degree or equivalent qualification from a well recognized university by Government of India.
    • Candidates belonging to General category must have scored 60% aggregate.
    • Candidates belonging to reserved category will provided 5% relaxation.
    • Result of final year of the applying candidate must be declared by September 2019.
    1. Age Limit
    • Candidates belonging to General Category should be between 20 years to 30 years of age.
    • Relaxation in Age is provided to candidates belonging to reserved category.
