IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2019 – is important for candidates who are applying to check before submitting the application form otherwise their application form might be rejected if they won’t fulfill the eligibility properly.     Roles and Responsibilities of Clerk in Bank:

    Backbone of any bank is its clerical staff. Clerical staff handles cash transaction, clearing cheques, checking details etc. 70 percent of staff is comprises of clerical staff. Without clerical staff it is impossible for a bank to run for a long. Now, every bank wants to hire clerical staff that has good communication skills and knowledge of computers. As far as need of clerical staff is there in the banks, opportunities for growth are possible. Clerk can give internal exams conducted by that bank only to get the higher positions. Candidate who will qualify that individual exam enjoys the perks of Officers post. If a candidate is good focused he/she can get the upper post in just 2-3 years.

    1. Nationality
    • Candidate must be citizen of India.
    • Applying candidate can be a subject of Bhutan and Nepal but should satisfy the conditions mandated by the Government of India.
    • Refugees of Tibet can also apply, but they should shift to India before January 1, 1962.
    • Candidates of Indian origin who have shifted in India with the intension of permanently settling here i.e. Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Vietman, Malawi, Zaire, Zambia, , Kenya Ethiopia.

    NOTE: Candidates belonging to last three points should have their certificate issued by the Government of India. If any Candidate fails to show their certificate he/she will not be eligible.

    1. Age Limit
    • Age limit should be 20-28 years.
    • Candidate should be born 02 august 1998 and after 01 august 1996.
    • Relaxation in age is also given to the following categories:

    1. Educational Qualification:

    Candidate must have Graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized University by Government of India.
