CTET Eligibility Criteria 2019 – CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), Delhi conducts CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) according to the guidelines laid down by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. According to the recent reports of the media, it is announced that CTET will now be conducted only once in the year 2019 as well. There will be two CTET papers that are Paper I and Paper II. Those candidates who want to be teacher of class I – V need to give Paper I and those who want to be teacher of class VI-VIII need to give Paper II. Those candidates who want to be teacher of class VI-VIII need to pass the TET (Teacher eligibility test) that is conducted by the government in accordance with guidelines as framed by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).  To fill the CTET Application form 2019 successfully and appear in CTET 2019 exam candidates are need to   be eligible as per the conditions framed by the conducting body. If any candidate found ineligible during the process of recruitment his/her candidature will be cancelled immediately by the recruiting body. CTET Eligibility Criteria 2019

As described above it is very important for every candidate to be eligible according to the conditions applied by the official body. Eligibility criteria lies under the factors of age limit, educational qualification and other factors.

    Age Limit:

    • Minimum age should 18 years.
    • No limit for upper age limit.

    Educational Qualification:

    1. Educational Qualification for Primary Stage (from standard I to V)
    • Candidate must have cleared higher secondary education by aggregate 50% marks and have passed or pursuing in last year of 2 years Diploma course in Elementary Education. 

    OR

    • Candidate must have cleared higher secondary education by aggregate 45% marks and have passed or pursuing in last year of 2 years Diploma course in Elementary Education as per NCTE Regulations 2002. 

    OR

    • Candidate must have cleared higher secondary education by aggregate 50% marks and passed or pursuing in last year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). 

    OR

    • Candidate must have cleared higher secondary education by aggregate 50% marks and passed or pursuing in last year of 2 years Diploma in Education. 

    OR

    • Candidate must have completed Bachelor’s degree and passed or pursuing last year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education. 
    1. Educational Qualification for Elementary Stage (from standard VI to VIII)
    • Candidate must have completed Bachelor’s degree and passed or pursuing last year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education. 

    OR

    • Candidate must have completed Bachelor’s degree with aggregate 50% marks and passed or pursuing in 1 year course of Bachelor in Education. 

    OR

    • Candidate must have completed Bachelor’s degree scoring minimum 45% marks and passed or pursuing 1 year’s Bachelor of Education as per NCTE framed rules & regulations published on time to time. 

    OR

    • Candidate must have completed Bachelor’s degree with aggregate 50% and passed or pursuing 1 year’s B.Ed course. 

    OR

    • Candidate must have completed 12th standard with aggregate 50% marks and passed or pursuing last year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education. 

    OR

    • Candidate must have completed 12th standard by aggregate 50% marks and passed or pursuing last year of 4 years B.Sc.Ed/ B.A or B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed.
