AFCAT 2019: Eligibility Criteria
Candidate’s first priority should be checking the eligibility criteria. An eligibility criterion is framed considering many factors like Nationality, age limit, educational qualification and marital status. Only those candidates will be able to submit the application form successfully who will fulfill the eligibility criteria completely. AFCAT Application Form 2019
- AFCAT application form 2019 can be filled by the candidates via online mode only.
- Application form will be available on the official website of the conducting body.

AFCAT 2019: Application Fee

AFCAT 2019: Classification of Commissions
PC for men
- The candidates joining as the PC officers would continue to serve in the same position till they acquire the age of superannuation as per their branch and rank.
SSC for men and women
- The candidates who join as the SSC for flying branch serve for 14 years from the date of commissioning
- The initial term for SSC officers in ground duty (both tech and non-tech) serve for the tenure of 10 years
- There can be an extension of 4 years which may be granted to the position holders subjected to willingness, convenience and service requirements and availability of seats as well.
AFCAT 2019: Exam Pattern
- The AFCAT examination will be conducted for the duration of two hours.
- The exam is subjected to the Multiple Choice Questions
- The exam evaluates the verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning, general knowledge, and military aptitude as well
- The Engineering Knowledge Test would be conducted for duration 45 minutes which is conducted immediately after the AFCAT 2019.
- It is mandatory for all the candidates to qualify the AFCAT and EKT who are planning to opt for Ground Duty (tech and non-tech).
- All the eligible candidates must register online through AFCAT Entry/ NCC Special Entry.
- The candidates are expected to register on time or submit the application form on time without any delay on the same.
