JEE Main Result 2018 To Be Released Soon

The JEE Main result 2018 for offline exam is about to be released shortly by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The result for JEE Main 2018 offline exam, which was conducted on 8th April 2018 will be declared by CBSE soon. The release date of the result is 30th April 2018, but till now there is no update for the official release of JEE Main result 2018. According to the board, around 10,00,000 candidates appeared for JEE Main 2018 offline exam which was conducted on 8th April 2018, and around 2,00,000 candidates were there in the JEE Main 2018 online exam which was held on 15th April and 16th April 2018. The candidates will be ranked by CBSE on the basis of scores secured by them in the JEE Main exam, and no weightage will be included from the marks scored by them in 12th standard.

Along with the scores for JEE Main paper 1 and paper 2,  the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the ranks of the candidates, list of top 2,20,000 eligible candidates for JEE Advanced 2018. The candidates qualifying the JEE Main 2018 exam will be eligible for admissions in various National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI), Self-Financed Institutes (SFIs), and other institutes. Whereas, the top 2,20,000 candidates eligible for appearing in the JEE Advance 2018, will be eligible for admissions in to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other top engineering institutes based on their score in JEE Advance 2018 exam.

     

    Across 112 cities in India and abroad, around 10.43 lakhs candidates appeared for the he Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2018 exam. There were around 6,46,814 boys candidates, 2,66,745 girls candidates and three trans gender candidates. The JEE Main 2018 offline exam was held in 104 cities. There were approx 1,613 exam centers across the country and 8 JEE Main 2018 exam centers in countries abroad. The candidates qualifying the JEE Main 2018 exam will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2018 exam. Around 10,43,739 candidates registered for the sixth edition of JEE Main exam in the 2018 year. In words of CBSE, “The sixth edition of JEE (Main) 2018 offline exam was held for approximately 10,43,739 candidates registered for admission to undergraduate engineering programs in NITs, IITs and other centrally funded technical institutes etc”.

    • Visit the nic.in, results.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in websites to check your results
    • Enter your login credentials, i.e. JEE Main 2018 Paper I roll number and your date of birth
    • Click on “Submit” button

    You will be redirected to the JEE Main results 2018 window where your result will be displayed. We advise all the candidates to download their JEE Main 2018 score cards.
