JEE Main 2018 Paper Pattern:

The JEE 2018 Main consists of two papers namely Paper I and Paper II.

The Paper 1 is both a Computer Based Exam (Online) as well as a Pen and Paper Based Exam (Offline). It consists of Objective type questions which have Multiple Choices (MCQ) and each question carries 4 marks and a negative mark is deducted for each wrong attempt.

The Paper comprises of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics questions and there is equal weight given to all 3 subjects and the duration of the exam is 3 hours.

Discard highest and lowest

If your test paper has any question which has answers in numerical values, discard the extremes. In 60% cases, the highest and lowest values are not right. So, be very careful while choosing the answer.

If you have already checked out two incorrect answers, choose one out of the remaining options. You can use the first point to select the correct answer.

Attempt the ‘no-negative marking’ questions
