The JEE 2017 Main consists of two papers namely Paper I and Paper II .

The Paper 1 is both a Computer Based Exam (Online) as well as a Pen and Paper Based Exam (Offline). It consists of Objective type questions which have Multiple Choices (MCQ) and each question carries 4 marks and a negative mark is deducted for each wrong attempt. Time Management:

Maintaining a proper schedule for every task that you do can lead you to success. Prepare along with all daily tasks such as exercise, play and every other tasks by managing the time.

Maintain a completely healthy diet including fresh fruits and vegetables. Try to ignore oily stuff and have a proper balanced diet.

Prepare the best way by appearing as many mock tests you can, and analyze the results regularly. Try solving the portion which you find difficult in the mock tests and create a strong base.

Discard highest and lowest

If your test paper has any question which have answers in numerical values, discard the extremes. In 60% cases, the highest and lowest values are not right. So, be very careful while choosing the answer.

Choose one among the two options

If you have already checked out two incorrect answers, choose one out of the remaining options. You can use the first point to select the correct answer.

Attempt the ‘no-negative marking’ questions

At times, there are questions like ‘match the following’ in the IIT JEE test. This questions doesn’t carry negative marking therefore you are free to take chance. You should never leave such questions un-attempted. You should read and know the marking scheme correctly to attempt every question and earn marks.

Pay attention to diagrams for co-ordinate geometry

Even if you are not sure of a topic or concept, you can still score well in the test. Learn to draw an approximate diagram according to the given parameters. It might take a little to draw the diagram, but will help you score good marks in IIT JEE Test.
