JEE Main 2017 Application Form are available from December, 2016 onwards. The strategy for filling JEE Main 2016 Application Form are mentioned here. Candidates can register and apply below after December 1 2016. The final date to apply and upload the scanned images for JEE Main was postponed from December, 2016 to January, 2017. Final date to pay the application fee for JEE Main has also been extended; applicants are allowed to pay the fee by credit/debit card till January 2016 and the final date to pay the application fee by e-challan was January, 2016.
Correction in JEE Main 2016 Application Form:
CBSE will make it easy for the candidates to modify the details packed by them while applying online for JEE Main. Correction was made available from January 2017. Candidates were able to modify all the details apart from city for examination and mode of their exam (from computer based to pen & paper based or vice versa). JEE Main 2017 candidates may be asked to pay some extra amount (if appropriate which can be paid through credit/debit card or e-challan in Canara Bank/ HDFC Bank/ ICICI Bank/Syndicate Bank from January, 2017.
JEE Main 2016 Registration:
In order to apply for JEE Main 2017, candidates need to first register. They need to following steps mentioned in order to apply online:
Step 1: Candidates should download the information bulletin and read it very carefully to make sure that they satisfy all the eligibility criteria.
Step 2: Candidates must make sure they keep all the required documents ready before applying online.
Step 3: Scanned photograph, Signature and Left Hand Thumb impression needs to be kept ready in JPG format before filling up the JEE Main Application Form.
Step 4: After getting prepared with all the documents, candidates need to fill the JEE Main Application Form.
Step 5: After filling up the application form, candidates must upload the scanned images.
Step 6: After submitting the Application Form, candidates would have to pay the application fee by Credit/Debit Card or by e-challan (which will be issued after submission of JEE Main Application Form)
Step 7: After submitting the fees, candidates need to download the acknowledgement slip and keep it for future reference.
In order to fill the application form of JEE Main 2016, candidates need to first register by creating a password. The password needs to be between 8 – 13 characters, and it should consist of capital letter, a special character, small case letters, & a number.
Resetting JEE Main 2017 Password:
Following options are accessible to retune password of JEE Main 2017-
- Using security question & its answer you selected during the form filling
- Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) on your registered mobile number
- Using a retune link sent via Email to your registered email address
In the application form, candidates will have to provide the following details-
- Exam Related Details
- Personal Details
- Academic Details
- Guardian Details
- Mailing Address Details
- Security Pin
After you submit the application form, the generated application number should be mentioned down as candidates would have to use it as their log in ID along with the selected password.
The name in application form should be the same as registered in class XII/qualifying examination.
