JEE Main 2017 Admit Card: CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Conducts JEE entrance test every year to find eligible candidates to get admission for engineering courses in well-known institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs etc. Admit Card or Hall Ticket for this year’s has got released on 14th March of 2017. JEE Main 2017 at a glance

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released Admit Card for Joint Entrance Examination Mains 2017 (JEE Mains 2017). On 2nd April of 2017, there will be an offline written examination (pen-paper method) for paper 1 (BE / B.Tech) and paper 2 (B.Arch / B.Plan). On 8th and 9th April of 2017, there will be online computer based test for paper 1 (BE / B.Tech). CBSE will be conducting JEE Main 2017 at 113 cities across India. Offline exam for paper 1 and 2 will be conducted in two shifts on 2nd April of 2017. At first shift, they will be conducting exam for engineering candidates and in second shift it will be for architecture aspirants. For paper one the timing will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 Pm and for paper 2 two it will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Online (Computer Based Test) for paper one will be conducted in two days as follows. It will be on 8th & 9th April of 2017. At these days first shift timing will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 Pm and second shift timing will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Reporting time will be 7:00 AM for morning time exams and 12:45 PM for afternoon exams. We have included a table here to understand this timing schedule easily.

How will be the examination date and timing if I’ve applied for both Paper 1 and Paper 2?

If you’ve applied for both paper one and two, CBSE will allow you exam date as 2nd April of 2017 and timing will be 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM & 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for paper 1 & paper 2 respectively. Check you Admit Card for exact date and timing.

Can I get JEE Main 2017 Admit Card by post?

No, you cannot. As because CBSE will be releasing JEE Main 2017 Admit Card online only. You can download it online at www.jeemain.nic.in.

I’ve entered a wrong roll number when I was updating JEE Main 2017 Admit card, what should I do now?

You must contact CBSE JEE Main. Corrections for application form can be done from 25th January of 2017 to 3rd February of 2017. But editing of roll number after filling it for you depends upon the decision of CBSE.

  • In objective type questions, you’ll get four marks for each correct answer. But there will be a deduction of one mark for each incorrect answer.

Procedure to download JEE Main Admit Card 2017

To make the procedure of downloading JEE Main 2017 Admit Card easily. We have given all the steps one by one below. You can follow this.

  1. Go to the official web page of JEE Main 2017 i.e. jee main.nic.in.
  2. There will be two links which say that ‘Download Admit Card JEE(Main) – 2017. One will be server 1 and another will be server 2.
  3. Click any one of those links.
  4. Now you’re at the login page.
  5. There will be given boxes for entering your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
  6. Input all the credentials asked.
  7. Click login.
  8. Now you’re directed to the page which shows your Admit Card.
  9. At the top left corner, there will be a button to print your Admit Card. Click on that button and print your Admit Card.

Things to do after you got downloaded your JEE Main Admit Card 2017

  • Print JEE Main 2017 Admit Card on a plain white sheet of paper. Then verify details and read “Directions for Candidates”.
  • Check exam centre mentioned in admit card. It is advisable to visit exam centre a few days before the exam. This will give you an idea of exam centre location and be able to reach centre on time on the day of the exam.
  • You can carry only those items which JEE Main Admit Card 2017 mentions as allowed. Arrange those items and documents carefully before exam day.
  • Also read pages 18 to 21 of information brochure to know all details of exam day guidelines such as reporting time instructions, marking scheme.
