JEE Main 2018 Cut Off and Analysis By TIME

JEE Main 2018 cut off and analysis by TIME has been released, as the JEE Main 2018 offline exam has been successfully held on April 8. CBSE will release the official cut off and analysis for the JEE Main 2018 exam with the result declaration for same. CBSE will release the JEE Main 2018 results on 30th April 2018, and 31st May 2018 for paper 1 and paper 2 respectively. The Central Board of Secondary Education has conducted the JEE Main 2018 paper 1 on 8th April 2018 in both online and offline mode. The JEE Main 2018 paper 2 will be conducted by CBSE on 15th April and 16th April 2018 in online mode. The official cut off for the exam will be released with the declaration of result for JEE Main 2018 exam by CBSE. The JEE Main expected cutoff by TIME institute and other coaching centres has been released for JEE Main 2018 offline exam. Candidates scoring minimum marks as per the official cut off for the exam will be eligible for admissions through JEE Main 2018 entrance exam. JEE Main 2018 cut off and analysis by TIME has been released before the release of official cut off. This will give an estimated idea to the candidates appearing for the exam about the expected cut off and minimum marks they would require to get admissions in the government and non-government colleges through JEE Main 2018 entrance exam.

  • JEE Main 2018 Analysis by TIME – Physics

    TIME has released the JEE Main 2018 analysis for Physics section of the JEE Main 2018 offline paper. According to TIME, the section was moderately difficulty, and had 11% difficult questions.

    JEE Main 2018 Analysis by TIME- Chemistry

    As per TIME, the Chemistry was moderately difficult and the questions were based on conceptual knowledge. There were no questions from certain topics like, Organic Chemistry.  The questions from Organic were random, and were tricky and confusing. While in Physical Chemistry almost all the topics were covered in the Chemistry section of the JEE Main 2018 offline paper.

    Physics:

    • The questions from physics section of JEE Main 2017 exam were moderately difficulty
    • The questions in the section included fewer questions involving multiple concepts in one question
    • No high-level mathematical calculation were needed to solve the questions
    • There was one question in the section paper that appeared to be out of the syllabus of JEE Main 2017 (based on relativistic Doppler Effect)
    • There were no questions from Alternating currents, hydrostatics, and hydrodynamics topics
    • There were less difficult questions and more medium level questions in the physics section of JEE Main 2017 exam

    Chemistry:

    • The questions were conceptual, and were moderately difficult
    • There were no application based questions in the Physical Chemistry in the chemistry section of the exam. Numerical questions were easy to solve
    • There were only text based questions in Inorganic chemistry
    • More questions were there from Physical chemistry

    Mathematics:

    • With comparison to physics and chemistry, mathematics was relatively challenging for students in JEE Main 2017 exam
    • The questions were tricky, indirect, and time consuming
    • 30% percent of the questions were easy and 27% were difficult. The rest were moderately difficult
    • Questions concept-based questions and tricky in nature.
    • Lengthy calculations consumed a lot of time of the candidates
    • One question from Coordinate Geometry was a bit difficult and confusing
    • No question was asked from Statistics, and there was only one question from Mathematical Reasoning
