JEE Advanced 2018 Exam pattern – JEE Advanced Exam is conducted for first 2,20,000 toppers, as the name suggest it is an advance level of examination for all the toppers for admission in best colleges of India. The exam will be held on 20th May 2018, registration for the same is to be done by all the applicants from 2nd May 2018 to 7th May 2018. JEE Advanced question paper is divided into two papers viz. Paper 1 & 2. Both are paper are having 3 sub-sections of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and questions are asked from each section. JEE Advanced question paper will comprise of MCQ’s and Numerical Questions; Negative Marking is followed but is not applicable in every section. The exam will be written examination on ORS (joined) sheet Optical Response Sheet. The article henceforth will give you a very precise & detailed information about the JEE Advanced 2018 exam pattern, marking scheme followed and ranking etc. You should also note that there are two paper and are dealt separately.

JEE Advanced 2015 Paper 1 – Total 60 questions of 264 marks

Note:

  • Paper would be written test for 264 marks
  • Total 60 questions will be asked both MCQ’s and Numerical
  • For Section 1 negative marking is not applicable whereas it is applicable on Section 2 & 3.
  • If questions were not attempted no marks will be credited
  • But if the question is encircled wrongly or more than one than negative marking is applicable.
  • Paper will be coded from 0 to 9

General information on JEE Advanced Paper Pattern

  1. Paper would be for 3 hours
  2. Paper 1 & 2 will be jointly conducted
  3. It will be a written test on ORS sheet
  • The first page of ORS answer sheet is designed to leave impressions in the second page & is machine readable.
  • The second page of ORS will be given back to candidates by the end of examination, which shall have the impressions of the answers as marked by them in the first page of ORS.
