May 10, 2017 – The official conducting authority will release the JEE Advanced 2017 Admit Card today at 02:00 pm onwards on their own website.

May 2, 2017 – The JEE Advanced paper will be held on May 21 and the registration portal will be open until 5 pm 2nd May 2017.

April 17, 2017 – The registration fee of JEE (Advanced) 2017 for the exam centres in India for female, SC, ST, PwD candidates will be Rs 1200 for all other candidates is Rs 2400 while for late fees is Rs 500. The exam fees outside India is USD 135. The late fee for the exam centres outside India is USD 80. and for Non-SAARC countries, it is270.

April 13, 2017 – The experts says that the registration process of JEE Advanced 2017 will begin on 28th April of 2017 and candidates must choose three cities from a zone of their choice at the time of online registration.

JEE Advanced Counselling 2017

JEE Advanced Counselling 2017 will be conducted by Joint seat allocation authority from 18th June to 19th July 2017 (tentatively). JEE Advanced counselling 2017 will be conducted after the declaration of JEE Advanced Result 2017. Counselling will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The counselling and seat allotment procedure of JEE Advanced 2017 will be organised by JoSAA which will include registration for counselling, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, reporting to allotted colleges and getting provisional admission in the allotted colleges.
     The main purpose of the counselling and seat allotment is for offering the candidates admissions in IIT’S AND ISM Dhanbad. As it is a national level examination through which candidates appeared in the examination will be seeking admission into various courses like B.Tech, Integrated M.Tech or B.Tech -M.Tech Dual Degree in engineering, Architecture, Science and Pharmacy which is provided in IITs and ISM. The seat allotment and JEE Advanced counselling 2017 will mostly be conducted in 6 rounds. The following are the procedure of JEE Advanced Counselling 2017

Online Registration: Candidates who qualified the JEE Advanced Examination, they have to register for the seat allocation in all participating Institutions. Without registration, the seat will not be allotted to the candidates.

Choice Filling: After registration, candidates have to fill their choices of courses & Institutions in decreasing order of their preference. Candidates have to fill as many choices as possible. Candidates can change their choices and add new ones till the final locking.

Choice Lock: Candidates must have to lock their choices after select the courses & institutions. If candidates don’t lock their choices, their last saved choices will be locked automatically.

Seat Allotment Letter: After a few days of choice lock, candidates will get an SMS/Email regards to the seat allotment. Candidates have to download their seat allotment letter from the official link.

Seat Acceptance: Candidates who allotted a seat must have to deposit the seat acceptance fee to confirm their seats. They also have to verify their documents at any reporting center for provisional seat acceptance. Candidates can pay the fee through e-Challan/SBI Net Banking. In 2016, the seat acceptance fee is Rs.20000 for SC/ST/SC-PwD/ST-PwD/GEN-PwD/OBC-NCL-PwD & for all other Candidates Rs. 45000.

Reporting at the Allotted College: within a few weeks of seat acceptance, all the IITs & ISM will publish their reporting schedule on the official site. The schedule and venues for introductory courses will be announced separately. Candidates have to report at the allotted college in a given time period.

JEE Advanced Answer Key 2017

JEE Advanced Answer key 2017 will be published on 4th June 2017 along with question papers and solutions. JEE advance answer keys of paper 1 and paper 2 will be published for candidates to observe their exam performance and get the idea of their performance. This exam i.e. the JEE Advance exam was previously held as the IIT JEE for admission in IITS and ISM. JEE Advanced 2017 Application Form

The most important task when you decide to appear for an examination is to fill in the JEE Advanced 2017 application form. Thus to successfully apply we have mentioned the enlisted steps. But do make sure that before filling the application form you are eligible for it.

In order to fill the form you will have to undergo three steps:

Step 1: – Firstly you will be required to visit the official website and fill the form with all the valid details

Step 2: –  After you’re done with the filling of the application form the next step is to upload all your scanned certificates.

Step 3: – The third step post uploading of the certificates is to pay the registration fees online for the completion of the application form.

How to Apply for JEE Advanced 2017

Those of you who are appearing for the examination will have to choose any three cities/towns from a zone as per choice while filling in the application form.

Step-1: Login & Fill Details

Step-1.1: Visit Official Website and Login

  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced (link will be provided here).
  • The login window will appear on the screen.
  • Enter the JEE Main 2017 Roll Number, Password and Security Pin and submit it.
  • Choose the new password for JEE Advanced.

Step-1.2: Fill Details

  • After creating the new password, a new page will be displayed containing candidate’s details furnished at the time of JEE Main registration.
  • Mention the number of attempts.
  • Choose the three examination cities as per their preferences.
  • Select the language of the question paper (English or Hindi).
  • Fill the category and scribe status.
  • Check all the filled details carefully and submit it.

Step-2: Upload Scanned Images

Students are needed to keep ready the required documents in the prescribed specification. The image should be in JPEG format. The image size should be between 50 KB to 300 KB. The documents required for registration are mentioned below:

  • 10th class certificate or birth certificate.
  • 12th or equivalent exam certificates.
  • Category, PwD or DS certificate (if applicable).

  • Select the required images.
  • Upload the scanned images one by one carefully.

Step-3: Registration Fee Payment

After uploading the images, candidates can make the fee payment through the following methods:

Online Mode:

  • Students can pay the application fee through the debit/credit card or net banking of SBI bank.
  • Click on the “Pay Registration Fee” option.
  • The Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page will appear on the screen.
  • Enter the payment details and pay the application fee.
  • Candidates paying for DUBAI exam centre are needed to pay the fee using International debit/credit card issued by foreign banks & issued outside India.

Offline Mode:

  • First, click on the “Pay Registration Fee” link.
  • Take the printout of the e-challan of SBI bank.
  • Submit the printed e-challan with the required fee to the nearest SBI branch.

Step-4: Print Application Form

After the fee payment confirmation, students will be able to take a printout of the application form. Students are advised to take extra printouts and keep them safe for further use. There is no need to send any hard copy to the authority.

Seat Reservation

Reservation will be done in the following manner in JEE Advanced 2017. SC candidates 15%, ST candidates 7.5%, Foreign Nationals candidates 10%, Defence Services candidates 2%, OBC-NCL candidates 27%, PWD (in each of the open, OBC-NCL, SC & ST) candidates 3%.

JEE Advanced 2017 Exam Pattern

Knowing the paper pattern of any exam braces you even further for it and gives you a certain idea of what to expect. JEE Advanced 2017 Facts

  1. This year IIT Madras is organising the JEE Advanced exam.
  2. Registration Process for JEE Advanced will begin on April 28, 2017.
  3. Candidates who are among the top 2,20,000 (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in Paper-I of JEE Main 2017 will only be eligible for applying to JEE Advanced 2017.
  4. The candidate who appeared for their class 12th exam in 2016 or 2017 will be eligible.
  5. Candidates who appeared for the class 12 exam in the academic year 2014-15 but their result was declared after June 2015 can also apply.
  6. The candidate must have scored at least 75% aggregate marks in class 12th. The aggregate marks required for SC, ST, and PwD candidates are 60%.
  7. Total 23 IITs will participate in the exam.
  8. In the past, 9 other institutes including IISER, IISc, and IIST have also accepted JEE Advanced score.
  9. The category-wise cut-off marks for the top 20 percentile will be calculated on the basis of marks scored by all the successful candidates in their respective boards in the particular year.
  10. JEE Advanced 2017 exam will be conducted on May 21.
