DNS (Diploma in Nautical Science) Program – Qualification Criteria

Qualifying Examination You have to qualify for 10+2/ 12th/ PUC/ HSC or any equivalent examination. If you are candidates who have qualified in B. Sc/ BE/ B. Tech (from any IIT or any college recognized by AICTE), then also you will be eligible apply.
Subjects You have to qualify the basic qualification exam (10+2 or any equivalent) with PCM* or B. Sc with PCM*/ Electronics with Physics as the individual subject in one of the years.
Minimum Marks If your qualification is 10+2 or an equivalent, then you have to score at least minimum of 60% marks in order to apply. If your qualification is B. SC/ BE/ B. Tech, then you have to secure at least minimum of 50% marks in order to apply.

B. Sc Marine Science Program – Qualification Criteria

Qualifying Examination You have to qualify for 10+2/ any equivalent examination.
Subjects You must have studied PCM* & English as subjects in your qualification examination.
Minimum Marks You must obtain at least minimum of 60% marks in PCM and at least minimum of 50% in English.

B. Tech Marine Engineering – Qualification Criteria

Qualifying Examination You have to qualify for 10+2/ any equivalent examination.
Subjects You must have studied PCM* & English as subjects in your qualification examination.
Minimum Marks You must obtain at least minimum of 60% marks in PCM and at least minimum of 50% in English.

B. Tech Marine Engineering (Lateral Entry) – Qualification Criteria

Qualifying Examination You should have qualified in Diploma in Engineering.

MBA Marine Management – Qualification Criteria

Qualifying Examination You must obtain a graduation/ any equivalent degree from any recognised university.
Minimum Marks You must obtain at least minimum of 50% marks. (You must score at least minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th/ 12th/ UG Degree).

M. Tech Marine Engineering – Qualification Criteria

Qualifying Examination You must obtain graduation/ any equivalent degree from any recognized university.
Minimum Marks You have to score at least minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

(NB: There will be a relaxation of 5% of eligibility will be given for SC/ ST category applicants).

Physical Fitness

Tech Marine Engineering program, then your vision must be unaided 0.5 (6/12) in each or 0.67 (6/9) in better eye and 0.33 (6/18) in the other eye. If the course you are going to apply in DNS/ B. Sc (Nautical Science)/ B. Sc (Maritime Science), then your vision must be unaided 1.0 (6/6) in the better eye and 0.67 (6/9) in the other eye.
