IIT Madras M.Tech Admission 2016 – The online Applications for the IIT Madras M. Tech Admission 2016 is available from March 7, 2016. Candidates who have competent in GATE 2016 can benefit admissions and can apply after March 20, 2016 when the GATE 2016 Result will be announced. Non GATE candidates can appear for a written test to avail admissions.

IIT Madras M.Tech Admission 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates need to have cleared any one of the following Degrees:

  • A Bachelors degree in Engineering/Architecture/Technology
  • Master’s degree in Chemistry/Life Sciences/Physics/Mathematics related subjects from educational Institutions approved by UGC/Government
  • Associate Membership holders of the professional bodies for admission into their parent disciplines from the following:

The Institution of Engineers (India) (AMIE)

The Indian Institute of Metals (AMIIM)

The Aeronautical Society of India (AMAeSI) (eligible only for aerodynamics,structures and propulsions streams)

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (AMIETE)

The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Polymer and Environmental Group (AMIIChemE)

How to Apply for IIT Madras M.Tech Admission 2016?

Candidates need to first register inorder to apply online. After completing registration they need to log in to enter the details asked in the application form. Candidates need to then enter their GATE registration number without the paper code. Then you should take a print out of the application form and keep for future reference. You don’t need to send the application form to IIT Madras.
