IISER Admission 2016

I am sure that you already know the highlight of the IISER admission is the BS-MS Dual Degree Program which is a five year dual degree program for upbeat and driven science students like yourselves who have passed class XII. The program assimilates classroom learning with research and provides abundant scope for multidisciplinary collaborations. The first two years of the program consists of core basic sciences, the third and fourth years are devoted to focus on chosen science subjects and the fifth year includes a research activity. The preparatory program enables students to pursue a vocation in academia, R&D institutes and science based activities.

BS-MS students are qualified for either KVPY or INSPIRE scholarship based on continued academic performance.

You will be educated on all disciplines of basic sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics). Then you will have to take up specialized subject(s).

In total there are 1000 available for admissions across all the IISERs.
