IIMC Entrance Exam 2017 – Indian Institution of Mass Communication (IIMC) is a premium institute offering Journalism and Media course at various centers across India, the head department is located in New Delhi. The institute every year gives open invitation to the students to fill the seats for PG Courses offered by it via an entrance exam. The entrance exam is commonly known as IIMC Entrance Exam wherein student’s personal interest in the subject and knowledge in the same is tested. There is no fixed pattern for the exam it will be purely on knowledge and its application basis; it is conducted in the month of August.

IIMC Entrance Exam 2017 Eligibility Criteria

IIMC, Delhi has set some standards for applicant’s i. e. “describing the essentials” that should be in an applicant. Those are mentioned below:

  1. An applicant should have completed 20 years but the age should not exceed 30 years.
  2. An applicant should have completed its bachelors degree or should be completing it (last semester candidate is eligible) or 10+2+3 from any of the recognized institution of India.

IIMC Entrance Exam would declare its “issue of application form” right from the beginning of March, students should read the prospectus before they apply for the exam… here are the steps given for application

  • Online mode
  1. Visit the website: “www.iimc.nic.in”.
  2. There a link for “Online Filling” would be given where a student have to fill all the details.
  3. Once they have done they are suppose to pay the application fees through “Payment Gateway”.
  4. And then finally send the print to the head department of Delhi.
  • Offline mode
  1. Applicant will need collect the form for the center by paying the nominal fees as applicable.
  2. Fill the form correctly and then send the same to the head department of Delhi.
  3. The letter should contain all the relevant details and it should be posted with Rs 70/- postal stamp on it.

IIMC Entrance Exam 2017 Application fees

Application fees is Rs. 1,200/- (Demand Draft) for General.

Application fees Rs. 1,100/-for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped (Demand Draft).

DD in favor of “Registrar, IIMC, New Delhi”.

Note: There are different forms available for all the courses like Journalism (Hindi) or Journalism (English) etc so applicant should demand the form for which he is actually going to apply

IIMC Entrance Exam 2017 Syllabus

      The final date for application form submission is over, you would have to appear in the next year i.e: 2017.
