IGNOU New Delhi admissions 2017 Apply for M.Phil Ph.D courses

IGNOU, New Delhi has announced an admission notification inviting applications from students to apply for its Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes. The candidates are requested to apply at the authorized website www.ignou.ac.in.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi has declared an admission notification welcoming applications from all those who are eligible and interested to apply for its master of philosophy (Mphil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes offered in various specializations.

    Eligibility criteria

    Educational qualification:

    M.Phil programmes: All those who are interested in applying for this programme should be holding a Masters degree of any well known university/other qualification recognized as correspondent thereto in such fields of study as are notified for the purpose from time to time by the university.

    PhD programmes: Those candidates who are interested in applying for this programme must be holding a Masters degree and/or MPhil in the relevant discipline along with the correspondent qualifications.

    Selection procedure:

    You would be selected based on your performance in the entrance test organized by the university at an all India level. Candidates holding MPhil degree (along with course work and dissertation both) or all of you who have cleared NET (organized by UGC/CSIR/ICAR) or any correspondent examination would be exempted from appearing in the entrance test.

    Important dates:

    The final date for the submission of an application form (openmat-XL) October 31
    Entrance test will be organized on December 4
