ICAR AIEEA UG Counselling 2017- Tentatively will be starting from 7th July 2017 (online mode only). The ICAR AIEEA UG Counselling is for allotment of the seats at the ICAR Participating Institutes/ Universities and will be conducted online only. ICAR AIEEA UG Counselling 2017 procedure will start soon after the ICAR Results are declared. In order to get seated in the college, they have to apply for ICAR counselling 2017 without fail.

There are three rounds of counselling:-

Round 1 – 7th July, 2017 (Tentative)

Round 2 – 17th July, 2017 (Tentative)

The Round 3 will be conducted only if the seats remain vacant after the Round 2 of the courses.

Please Note – Only those who have secured a minimum of 50% marks for General and UPS categories and a minimum of 40% marks for SC/ST/PC categories in the entrance examination shall be eligible for the counselling.

The 22nd ICAR All India Entrance Exam for admission to bachelor’s degree programme is the gateway for the admission to 15% seats in participating Agricultural Universities.

ICAR AIEEA UG Counselling 2017 PROCEDURE:

 Applicants will have to register for ICAR counselling 2017 by paying Rs.2000 after declaration ICAR AIEEA UG Exam result 2017 as the counselling fee using Credit Card/Debit Card or Net Banking. Applicants, who shall not participate in ICAR AIEEA UG Counselling 2017, shall not be applicable for ICAR quota seats in any Agricultural University at any stage. A Candidate should give his options for choice of subject degree programme and University in order of the preferences and present it at the time of online ICAR Counselling.

This process involves 8 steps:-

STEP 1: At first, the candidates have to apply for registration of online counselling by paying Rs 2000 as the counselling fee using Credit Card/Debit Card or Net Banking.

STEP 2: They do not have to visit the campus or any other venue as the counselling process is online only. Only those candidates will be able to log in for counselling who have registered.

STEP 3: The exam details will be available on home page of ICAR- Seat matrix, previous year counselling cut off, previous year admission cut off, previous year opening and closing rank and others. Only the Eligible and qualified candidates shall be allowed to make their choices of their course and the institutions.

STEP 4: The courses and the institutions displayed to the candidates for admission will be according to their scores and eligibility.

STEP 5: Applicants can select a maximum number of institutions for early seat allotment. They can also add /modify/delete choices during the stipulated time period. The candidates are also allowed for interchange/upward movement/ downward movements for N number of times.

STEP 6: Now the candidates have to click on the SAVE button and can alter their choices/preferences any time prior to the last date and also before the locking of their preferences/choices. If the choices are not locked by the candidate till the last date, then the last saved choices will be automatically locked.

STEP 7: On the counselling day, the seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their merit and availability of the seats. The candidates will also be informed about the same through SMS or Email about the course and University they have been selected in the Round 1 of ICAR Counselling.

STEP 8: The candidates are supposed to download the provisional allotment letter (in pdf format) and the printout has to be presented at the allotted University. The documents of the candidates will be verified and only after which the university will issue the final admission letter online.

 

Filling Of Vacant Seats After The Final Round Of Online Counselling:-

  •  If there are seats vacant even after the third round of the counselling process then those seats will be automatically released to the Agricultural University who then shall be permitted to fill them up. These seats shall no longer be called as ICAR seats and will be treated as university seats thereafter.
  • The candidate who has been allotted a seat through online counselling in an Agricultural University through ICAR examination will have to turn up to the concerned Agricultural University within the given time period for admission in the concerned university.
  • The candidates should enquire about the fee structure before seeking admission in the universities.
  • The Councillor shall not entertain any kind of permissions for late registration/ admission in the universities or be issuing any direction in this regard.

 

Documents Essential for ICAR AIEEA UG Counselling 2017

  • Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate.
  • Medical Certificate in case of Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates (issued by any medical officer in any government hospital mentioning the degree of disability).
  • Class 10th/12th Mark sheet/ Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate/ Character Certificate.
  • Caste certificate (ORIGINAL).
  • ICAR- Application form, Entrance score card, Admit card.
  • 3 recent passport size photographs.
  • Domicile certificate
  • Authority letter/undertaking in the prescribed format (if the candidate is unable to attend the counselling personally).
