IBPS Clerk 2015-2016 – Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Common Written Exam popularly known as IBPS CWE exam is a national level exam. It is conducted to offer admission to aspirants in for employment for Clerical Cadre in participating public sector banks such as Andhra Bank, Allahabad Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Dena Bank and many more. Applicants interested can fill the application form from the official website www.ibps.in beginning from 11th August, 2015. The examination will be in two parts, preliminary and main. Applicants who will qualify for preliminary examination and shortlisted have to appear for the main examination and selected applicants in the main examination will be called for the interview. The IBPS Clerk Common interview will be conducted by the participating organization and co-ordinate by the Nodal Banks. The Preliminary entrance exam will be conducted in the December, 2015 and Main exam will be conducted in the month of January, 2016.

IBPS Clerk 2015-2016 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who satisfy the below conditions are eligible for IBPS Clerk Exam:

  • Applicants appearing for the exam must have completed their graduation or its equivalent degree from a recognized university or institution to be eligible.
  • Applicant applying should have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in High School/College and must have knowledge in operating computers and its applications.
  • Applicant need to score good in the official language spoken by the State.
  • Applicant ought to be of the age between 20-28 years to apply for the examination.

Applicants will get relaxation of age on certain category of students such as:

5 Persons ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 5 years
6 Persons affected by 1984 riots 5 years

IBPS Clerk 2015-2016 Application form

Those students who satisfy the eligibility criteria can follow the steps below to apply for IBPS Clerk exam:

Step 1: Applicant need to register by visiting www.ibps.in and click on ‘Apply online for CWE Clerks-V’

Step 2: Click on ‘Registration’ and fill the details such as education, personal and other as required in the form. The applicant will be provided with a provisional email-id and password

Step 3: Applicant need to login and upload their recent passport size photograph and signature as mentioned in the form and save it.

Step 4: Applicants must check the entire filled form and verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. No change is permitted after clicking on ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ button.

IBPS Clerk 2015 Application Fees:

Application fees of Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates and Rs. 600 /- for all others have to be paid online through Debit/ Credit Card.

IBPS Clerk 2015-2016 Exam Pattern

  • The test comprises of 2 papers
  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. Main Examination
  • The 1st paper will be of 100 and the time for the examination will be 1 hour.
  • The 2nd paper will be of 200 multiple choice questions and time for the exam will be of 2 hours.
  • The language of paper will be available in Hindi and English Only.
  • For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Documents Required in IBPS Clerk 2015

The applicants applying for the examination must not forget to carry with them the following documents, at the time of the exam as well as the interview:

  • Printout of the call letter
  • Online application form for CWE Clerks-V
  • Birth certificate issued by the Competent Municipal Authorities or SSLC
  • Graduation mark-sheets and certificates from the University/Board, for result declared before September 1
  • Caste certificate issued by the competent authority in case of SC/ST/OBC category candidates
  • OBC caste certificate that contains the ‘Non-creamy’ layer clause as on the date of the interview
  • Disability certificate in prescribed format issued by the District Medical Board
  • Complete details of the scribe, used at the time of CWE exam
  • Discharge certificate and pension payment order by candidates retired from Armed Forces
  • A ‘No-Objection Certificate’ by the candidates serving in Government / Quasi-govt offices/ Public Sector Undertakings

In the absence of any of these documents, the applicant shall not be allowed to appear for the interview. No documents are required to be directly sent to IBPS by the candidates before or after the interview.
