HTET 2017 Exam will be conducted in the month of September 2017. Candidates will be able to submit the application forms online in June 2017. HTET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of an exam are some of the necessary conditions of the exam that need to be satisfied by the candidates to be eligible for the exam. These are set by the organizing authorities of the exam and are very important to be fulfilled. If, at any point in the recruitment process, a candidate is found not eligible for the exam, then his/her candidature shall automatically be cancelled without prior notice. So, the candidates must take care of this thing before applying for the exam. the eligibility norms for the HTET 2017 Exam are as follows.

For Lower Primary Teachers:

  • The aspirant must have passed the 12th class qualifying examination with a minimum passing mark of 50% from a recognised board.
  • The candidates who shall be appearing in the final year or diploma course/bachelor course in special or elementary education are also eligible for this exam.

For Upper Primary Teachers: (TGT-Trained Graduate Teacher)

  • The aspirant must be a graduate with a minimum 55% degree or passed/appearing in the final year of Diploma course/Bachelor’s course of 4 years/B.Ed./ 4-year B.A./B.Sc.

For PGT Lecturer (Post Graduate Teachers):

  • The aspirant must be a graduate with a minimum 55% degree or passed/appearing in the final year of Diploma course/Bachelor’s course of 4 years/B.Ed./ 4-year B.A./B.Sc.

HTET 2017 Application Form

To apply for the exam, candidates need to fill and submit the application form for the exam. The application form can be filled and submitted online only. The link at which candidates will be able to apply has been provided below. Only the eligible candidates must apply for the exam. Also, the application form must reach the authorities before the last date. The complete procedure has been explained as follows.

  • First, candidates must open the official site to apply for the exam which is given as follows.
  • Candidates must look for a link named “Apply online” and click on it.
  • An application form shall open up. Candidates are required to fill in the details as asked in the form in the correct order.
  • Then, the candidates must upload the scanned copies of the required documents which are the photograph and signatures of the candidates in the specified formats.
  • A registration number and a password will be allotted to each candidate. The candidate must note down this number and use it to log in to the site.
  • After logging in, the candidates must make the payment of the application fee by the means of an e-challan and can deposit the fee in the Oriental Bank of Commerce, HDFC Bank or the Union Bank of India. The application fee has been given below.

For candidates belonging to general and OBC category: Rs.600

For candidates belonging to SC/ST category: Rs.300

  • After this, the candidates can finally submit their forms and must take out a copy of the completed application form for future use.

HTET 2017 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of any exam specifies the important features of its question paper. Candidates must know these details before they start preparing for the exam. Some of the points told by the exam pattern are the types of questions asked in the exam, the number of questions, maximum marks, time duration etc. These details are important and must be known to all the participants. The exam pattern for the HTET 2017 Exam has been given below.

For Primary Teachers

  • There will be total 5 sections for this paper including child development, language1, language2, maths, science/social science.
  • The total number of questions will be 210.
  • The maximum marks of the paper will be 210.

For PGT teachers:

  • There will be total 4 sections in this paper including child development and pedagogy, language 1, language 2 and a specific subject.
  • There will be total 150 questions in the paper.
  • The maximum marks of the paper are 150 marks.

HTET 2017 Admit Card

The admit card will be released a few days before the exam in the month of August 2017. The final date of release of admit card is not known yet but it will soon be known. The candidates will be able to obtain the admit cards through the official website. They will have to log in using the password and registration number. The downloading of admit card must be done on time and the admit card must be printed. It must be brought to the exam hall at the time of written exam.

HTET 2017 Exam Results

The HTET 2017 Exam result shall soon be out after the exams. The date of result is not available yet but it will soon be announced by the authorities. The result shall show the names of the candidates who will clear the written exam. These candidates shall then be called for an interview round. Based on these two criteria, the final selections will be made. The result will be declared online only and candidates will be able to check it when it will be posted here.
