The Haryana Teacher’s Eligibility Test commonly known as the HTET level 3 exam which was supposed to be held on November 14 now stands cancelled. The announcement of the exam’s cancellation was notified via Rambilas Sharma who is the education minister of Haryana. He also stated that the schedule is going to be revised and the new exam date will be published soon by BSEH. The exam got cancelled due to HTET paper leak that occured at a few exam centers.
An approximate of 1.2 lakh candidates had appeared for this highly secured exam. The paper was leaked at a test venue in the Jind district where two female and three male candidates were caught having the solved question paper of the TET examination. As per the newspaper reports the Chairman of Haryana Board of School Education has confirmed the cancellation news regarding PGT Level-3 test. However the Level-1 and Level-2 exam will be conducted as per the previous schedule only. New dates for Level 3, however, will be announced soon.
The aspirants are advised to keep visiting the Board’s website regularly to avail of the latest updates regarding the test. This time the number of women aspirants who applied for the HTET 2014-15 is more than twice the number of men who applied. The examination conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education received a total of 4,58,514 applications, out of which 3,09,037 applications were from female candidates.
