The GMAT does not measure business knowledge or skill, nor does it measure intelligence. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAC), the GMAT assesses analytical writing and problem-solving abilities, while also addressing data sufficiency, logic, and critical reasoning skills that it believes to be vital to real-world business and management success. The GMAT is still the most used test by a majority of students.

Eligibility Criteria for GMAT 2016

As you already know that the GMAT is an international MBA entrance exam. The GMAT 2016 Eligibility hasn’t been particularly defined by GMAC or Graduate Management Admission Council, the body which conducts the GMAT exam.

However, the GMAT Eligibility can be stated as the following:

  • Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized board or university
  •    Candidate must be proficient in English Language.
  •    The candidate must be minimum 18 years of age.
  •    There is no upper age limit to take the GMAT exam.

Other than this there are no other GMAT 2016 Eligibility criteria mentioned as per the exam authorities. The candidate can belong to any country across the world or be a student of any discipline. There is no upper limit of education qualification apart from graduation for the test takers.

GMAT scores are used by more than 1, 500 universities and institutions in 83 countries for 5, 400 programmes. Do note that the GMAT 2016 Eligibility may vary from institute to institute but that would matter only during the admission process. The institute’s eligibility criteria will not deter the graduates from taking the GMAT exam.
