ESIC MBBS Admission 2019 – ESIC Corporation under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India has called in applications from ‘Wards of Insured persons’ under ESI Scheme who have skilled in ‘All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2016, for admission to UG Course (MBBS) in the subsequent ESIC Medical Colleges under “ESIC Management Quota” for academic session 2019-20.  It is advisable to the candidates to first check the eligibility criteria as framed by officials and then apply to avoid any issue.     ESIC MBBS Admission 2019 Eligibility Criteria

    Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for admission below. It is mandatory for the candidates to check the eligibility criteria carefully to avoid any type of scenario at the time of admissions. 

    • Minimum eligibility criteria for admission will be on the basis of the MCI regulations
    • Application should be accompanied by “Ward of Insured Person” Certificate, issued by apprehensive Regional Director/SRO I/C
    • Demand Draft (DO) of Rs.24000/- drawn in favor of ESI Fund Account No.1′, payable at New Delhi, will need to be deposited at the counseling venue, right away (on the same day) after allocation of seat
    • The amount should be refunded after subtraction of Rs.1000/- if the seat is surrendered within 03 days of allocation

    How to Apply for ESIC MBBS Admission 2019?

    Candidates need to submit application form in the mentioned format with copies of all required certificates and affidavits before the due date. The application form needs to be sent to Director General “Panchdeep Bhawan”, ESI Corporation HQ Office, C-I-G. Marg, New Delhi-110002.

    Detailed Admission Policy  for  MBBS for 2019

    1. All India Quota: In the All India Quota there is totally of 15% seats in each of the medical institutions, as per the prevailing Central Government’s directives for the defined quota including reservation policy and procedures predefined by the Central Government.
    2. State Government Quota: the state government quota will be as per the policy of the states applicable to unaided non-minority sections of people.
    3. Insured Quota: The remaining seats out of all the Central and State seats are the Insured Quota. The seats are expected to be allotted to the “Wards of Insured Person’s on all India basis.
    4. If there are any seats left over after the all mentioned above, after the conclusion of all the counseling will be submitted to the state governments for the decisions and inclusion within the state quota.
    5. Fee structure: The tuition fee in ESIC Medical Education Institutions is decided according to the approval of the ESIC and no capitation fee or profiteering will be further entertained.
    6. Execution of Bond for Service: The candidates who seek for admission in any ESIC Medical institution must have to execute a bond, for 3 years tenure at regular intervals of time. If there is any rural service period pertaining to the state or central government, then it will be included in the bond of three years, respectively.
    7. The insured person can be an employee and must have been into the continuous insurable employment for the minimum period of four to five years or so and currently preceding the January 1 of the admission year.
    8. Ward of Insured Person: It is the person who is completely dependent on the legitimate earnings of the insured person who is receiving education, natural born child, ward of insured person who is a recipient of dependents benefit under the act and the natural born ward of insured person who are attaining the access to personal disability benefit under the act for 40% or more disability.
    9. The competent authority to issue the ward of insured person certificate under the ESIC would be the regional director, other officer, authority or committee from time to time.
