UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2019-In an official meeting, it has been finalized that 21st April 2019 will be the UPSEE 2019 exam date for UG level. As per the indications showed by the officials, the application form will be released in 2nd week of January 2019. The candidates who are willing to participate in the UPSEE exam need to fulfil the UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2019. The terms and conditions of the UPSEE Eligibility Criteria which the candidates need to fulfil, for instance, the qualifying exam the candidates need to pass. Engineering courses consist of four types which are offered in the UPSEE Entrance Examination. These four engineering courses are B. Tech, B. Tech (Biotechnology), B. Arch and B. Tech (Agriculture Engineering). The UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2019 will also change according to the courses a candidate chooses. The candidates need to attain a minimum of 50% marks in the mandatory subjects for getting admission in the B.Arch courses and they need to get a minimum of 45% marks in the mandatory subjects in case the candidates need to get admission in the B. Tech courses. There is also a relaxation in the percentage of scorecard for reserved category candidates.

Scholarship

There are no age limit criteria as per the UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2019 and hence, the UPSEE examination will be open for all age groups. Candidates are advised to read and understand the UPSEE Eligibility Criteria thoroughly before filling the application form. Eligibility Criteria of UPSEE 2019

    The eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2019 exam include the nationality, the exam qualified, age limit, domicile. The candidates will be eligible for admission only if they meet the eligibility criteria of UPSEE.

    Nationality:

    The candidates who are Indian/NRI/ FN/ PIO are eligible to apply.

    Age Limit:

    There is no bar for this exam as per the UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2019.

    Qualifying Exam and Combination of Subjects:

    The candidates must possess the passing certificate of 10+2 or any equivalent examination. The combination of subjects which are opted to qualify in the examination is enlisted below.

    Course Compulsory Any one of the following subjects
    B. Tech Physics and Mathematics Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-Technology/ Technical Vocational Subjects
    B. Tech (Bio-Technology)

    a)      Physics and

    b)     Mathematics or Biology

    Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Technical Vocational Subject
    B Arch Physics and Mathematics Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Engineering Drawing/ Technical Vocational Subject
    B Tech Agriculture Discipline

    Minimum marks to be attained by the candidate in Qualifying Marks.

    Course Qualifying marks
    B Tech Candidates need to attain 45% marks and 40% marks for SC/ ST category candidates in aggregate in the qualifying exam in the required three subjects.
    B Tech (Bio-Technology) The candidates who are eligible for the B Tech courses are also eligible in the b Tech (Bio-Technology)
    B Arch The Candidates need to attain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and should have passed each subject without grace.
    B Tech (Agriculture Engineering)

    The candidates need to attain a minimum of 45% aggregate marks and 40% of SC/ST category in aggregate in the qualifying examination without grace.

    Candidates eligible for B Tech courses are also eligible for this course.

    Domicile:

    The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from a UP-based institution or their parents are a domicile of UP are fit according to the UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2019. Those candidates who qualified the examination from outside UP need to give the parent’s domicile certificate during document verification. 

    The candidates whose parents are not a domicile of UP and the candidates who did their 10+2 from outside UP can also appear the examination. Those candidates will be able to avail admission to 10% of the seats sanctioned at the institutions affiliated to AKTU. The candidates will not be given the preference of reservation under this option. The candidate’s seats belonging to this category will be on merit basis.
