The aspiring candidates who will be applying for SAAT 2019 need to qualify 12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of these subjects which are Chemistry/Information Technology/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Informatics/Biology/Statistics or any other subject approved by appropriate authority.
The aspiring candidates willing to apply for SAAT 2019 must have attained 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination with the above-mentioned combination.
The candidates who are appearing for the 12th examination in 2019 are also eligible to apply for SAAT.
For Lateral Entry in Bachelor of Technology Programme
- Three-year Diploma in Engineering
- Hotel Management scoring minimum 45% marks from State Council of Technical Education
- Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or equivalent examination (40% for reserved candidates).
B.Sc. Degree with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved candidates) and qualified 12th standard with mathematics as a subject.
SAAT Eligibility Criteria 2019: Reserved Category
- The category of female candidates will take 30% of the reservation.
- The candidates of Schedule Caste category will take 15% of the reservation.
- The candidates of Schedule Tribe category will take 7.5% of the reservation.
- The candidates of Physically Handicapped category reserves 3% of the reservation criteria.
- The candidates of Other Backward Class categories will only be eligible for marks reservation.
SAAT Admission Procedure 2019
The admission of B.Tech courses at the university will be executed based on the merit list of the candidates in SAAT 2019.
The candidates need to appear in person for the procedure of counselling and seat allotment for admissions. The admissions will be provided based on the merit list and the total number of seats available in B.Tech programmes.
The documents need to be verified by the candidates during counselling and seat allotment.
