OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2019 is for the candidates who are seeking admission in B. tech program through OJEE 2019. The candidates going to fill and submit an online OJEE application form 2019 must check the OJEE Eligibility Criteria. After meeting the OJEE Eligibility Criteria given here, the candidates should apply for OJEE. The candidates who are not fulfilling any of the eligibility criterions of OJEE, they will not be considered for admission. Scholarship

OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) is state level admission process conducted by Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) for offering B. tech seats at government and private engineering colleges in Odisha. The candidates who fulfill the OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2019 will be able to apply for OJEE 2019 tentatively from the last week of 2nd week of June 2019. The candidates would be selected for OJEE Counselling 2019 on the basis of their academic performance and score obtained in JEE Main 2019. OJEE allotment of seat will start from the 1st week of July 2019. The candidates who will be allotted B. Tech seat will have to pay the admission fee and verify the required documents at counselling venue.

The following are the OJEE Eligibility criteria 2019 which must be fulfilled by the applicants:

    Nationality of Candidates

    To be eligible for OJEE, the candidates should be an Indian citizen. Indian origin person and NRIs are also eligible to apply for OJEE.

    Age Criteria

    There is no age bar for admission to B. Tech programs through OJEE. The candidates who are seeking admission to 4 years Marine Engineering must be aged less than 20 years old at the time of admission.

    Educational Qualification

    The Educational Qualification criteria for the applicants will be class 12 exam conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha or an equivalent exam with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects and one subjects from the subjects given below:

    • Biology
    • Chemistry
    • Technical Vocational Subject
    • Biotechnology / Computer science
    • Information Technology
    • Statistics / Electronics
    • Geology

    The candidates who appearing or passing class 12 exam in 2019 will also be eligible to apply for OJEE 2019 admission.

    Minimum Marks in Qualifying Exam

    • The candidates who have obtained minimum 45% marks in class 12 exam are only eligible to apply for OJEE 2019. The candidates who belong to SC/ ST category need to secure minimum 40% marks in class 12 exam.
    • The candidates who want to apply for B. Arch program admission through OJEE should secure 50% aggregate marks in PCM subject in class 12th The eligibility criteria for those who want admission to Marine Engineering program will be minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCM subjects in class 12.

    Qualifying Exam

    The candidates want to apply for 4 years B. Tech/B. Arch program admission must appear in JEE Main exam to be held in 2019.
