NEE 2019- The online mode application form of NEE 2019 exam is released on 11 January 2019, the candidates can fill & submit the same on the official website till 25 March 2019. NEE, which is a short name of NERIST Entrance Examination, is a national level entrance exam conducted by North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) for admission to various programs such as Certificate Course, Diploma Module & Degree Module programs in Technology streams, Degree Module programs in Forestry offered by NERIST campus at Nirjuli, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. There are total of 3 papers of NEE 2019 entrance test namely NEE-I, NEE-II, and NEE-III. The candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. NEE online application is started from 11 January 2019 and the NEE 2019 exam will be held on 20 & 21 April 2019. The candidates will be offered a seat for admission in their desired program on the basis of their performance in NEE 2019 exam.

NEE Eligibility Criteria 2019
The candidates can check eligibility criteria for NEE I, NEE II and NEE III below:
NEE I Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: The candidates should be passed in class 10 or equivalent exam with science and mathematics as compulsory subjects. The candidates should be passed in each compulsory subjects taken in the qualifying exam.
Age: The candidates want to appear in NEE-I should be aged maximum 19 years old on 31 July 2019. The candidates belongs to OBC category and female candidates should be aged maximum 22 years old on 31 July 2019 whereas, the candidates belong to SC, ST and PWD category should be aged maximum 24 years aged.
NEE II Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: The candidates should be passed class 12 or its equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) as compulsory subjects, or 10+2 (Vocational) / ITI / NERIST Certificate in any one of the branches. The candidates should be passed in each compulsory subjects taken in qualifying exam are only eligible to apply for NEE-II.
Age: To be eligible for NEE II 2019, the candidates should be aged maximum 23 years old on 31 July 2019. The candidates belong to OBC category and female candidates should be aged maximum 26 years old on 31 July 2019 whereas, the candidates belong to SC, ST and PWD category should be aged maximum 28 years aged.
NEE III Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: The candidates should be passed 3 years Diploma from any Government recognized polytechnic institution with a minimum of60% marks considering aggregate marks of all the three years’ together or NERIST Diploma Module with a minimum of CGPA 6.0 on a 10 point scale.
Age: To be eligible for NEE III 2019, the candidates should be aged maximum 40 years old as on 31 July 2019. The candidates belong to OBC category and female candidates should be aged maximum 43 years old on 31 July 2019 whereas, the candidates belong to SC, ST, and PwD category should be aged maximum 45 years aged.
NEE Application Form 2019
The candidates preparing for NEE exam to be held in 2019 will have to first fill the NEE application form. The candidates will be able to fill the application form through online mode. The online application form for NEE is made available from 11 January 2019 on the official website of NEE as well as on our separate page for NEE Application Form 2019. NEE Exam Centres 2019
NEE 2019 exam is scheduled to be conducted at 14 exam centres throughout the eight North Eastern States. While filling the online application form, the candidates have to select2 exam centres from the list given here. Any centre may not be available to a candidate if the number of applicants in that centre exceeds the maximum capacity of the centre and also a centre may be cancelled if sufficient numbers of candidates are not available at that exam centre. NEE Admit Card 2019
The candidates who will successfully submit the online mode application form of NEE 2019 exam can only download the hall ticket/admit card. Such candidates can download their admit card on the official website of NEE 2019 and on our separate page for NEE Admit Card 2019 as well. The admit card will be available for download on the exam website from April 8, 2019. NEE 2019 Admit Card is one of the most important documents in order to get admission. The candidates who will not carry the admit card to the exam centre will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. The admit card contains details like name, Registration Number, Exam Name, Course selected, Exam Centre Details, Date and Time of Exam. It will also contain a photograph and signatures of the candidates.
NEE Exam Pattern 2019
The candidates preparing for NEE exam to be held in 2019 will have to take NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III exam as per the exam pattern furnished in the separate tables below:
- Duration of Exam: 180 minutes each for NEE-I, NEE-II, and NEE-III
- Mode of Exam: Offline mode
- Question type: objective type questions with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 1 marks will be given, for each wrong answer 25% (¼th) marks will be deducted. There is no negative marking for un-attempted questions.

NEE Syllabus 2019
The syllabus of NEE 2019 exam is different for each course. As the NEE 1 exam is conducted for admission to certification courses, the syllabus will mainly comprise topics from class 10 Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry sections. NEE 2 and NEE 3 will consist of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of class 12 level and the topics such as Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Heat and Thermodynamics, Electrochemistry, etc. must be focused upon. Questions pertaining to the Biology section will also be asked in the NEE entrance exam. Apart from this, vocational subjects should also be focused by the candidates.

NEE Selection Process & Result
- The candidates will be selected for admission in the program they have wished for on the basis of their marks obtained in NEE exam 2019 and seat availability. The candidates who will secure required marks in NEE exam will be offered seats and such candidates will be able to get admission through NEE counselling 2019.
- Based on the performance of the candidates in NEE, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) will prepare NEE result 2019 and publish it on its official website. The candidates who will appear in NEE exam will be able to check their result from 15 May 2019, tentatively.
NEE Cut Off 2019
After releasing the result for NEE 2019, the examination conducting body will release the cutoff which will be the basis of admission. The cutoff will carry the minimum marks required for admission. The university determines the cutoff every year based on the below factors
- Highest marks secured in the current year
- Level of the exam
- Marks and cutoff secured in the previous year
- No of seats available
- Number of applicants
The university also gives exemption in cut off marks based on category and reservation.
