NATA 2019- The official notification and brochure are released by the examination conducting body. The online mode application process has been started from 24 January 2019 for both sessions of the NATA 2019 exam. NATA 2019 exam will be conducted twice a year to offer admissions to the candidates under various private and government aided colleges which consider the score of NATA for admissions. The first session of the NATA entrance exam is scheduled to be held on 14 April 2019 and the second phase exam will be held on 7 July 2019 at various exam centres throughout the country. The exam conducting body has also revised the eligibility criteria, the candidates can check the same on this page. The Council of Architecture will convene the NATA 2019 exam. NATA 2019 is a national level exam and conducted at various exam centres throughout the country to offer admissions to the aspiring candidates under various architecture courses. The candidates qualifying the NATA 2019 (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) exam will be eligible for admissions in the B.Arch program. This Bachelor of Architecture program is a 5-year program.     NATA 2019 Application Form

    The registration for NATA 2019 has begun on 24 January 2019. The NATA Application Form 2019 has been released in online mode by the exam conducting authority on the official website. The last date to submit the application forms for the first session of NATA 2019 is scheduled to fall on 11 March 2019 and the last date for the second phase of NATA 2019 exam is 12 June 2019. The application forms submitted after the last date will not be considered by the Council of Architecture. The filling of application forms will be concluded after uploading of required images, documents, and payment of the application fee. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will need to upload relevant documents as proof of their reservation. We advise all the aspiring candidates to take a print out of the confirmation page which will be generated on the website after the successful payment of the application fee for future reference.

    The application fee for NATA 2019 can be paid through online mode. The application fee for the applicants is as under:

    NATA 2019 Eligibility Criteria

    The eligibility criterion for NATA 2019 is prescribed by the exam conducting authority. The NATA Eligibility Criteria 2019 will be defined in the official information brochure for the exam. As per the eligibility criteria:

    • Age: There is no age limit to apply for the exam.
    • Lateral Entry: No lateral entries will be entertained by the Council of Architecture.
    • Qualifying Exam: A candidate must have qualified either 12th standard or 10+3 diploma in any stream from any recognized central/state government or must have or International Baccalaureate Diploma (after completing schooling for 10 years). The exam conducting authority will consider the appearing candidates eligible too to apply for the exam.
    • Required Subjects: The candidates must have physics, chemistry & mathematics as main subjects in their qualifying exam.
    • Minimum Required Marks: The candidates applying for the exam must have qualified the above-mentioned degrees with at least 50% aggregate marks and with Mathematics as one of the main subjects.
    • Arts Candidates: The candidates who are passed class 12 or its equivalent exam in arts but passed in mathematics, physics, chemistry subjects are also eligible to appear in NATA 2019 exam.

    NATA 2019 Syllabus

    NATA 2019 Admit Card

    The admit card for NATA 2019 will be released in online mode on the official website by the Council of Architecture. The NATA admit card 2019 will be released for the first session of the NATA exam from 1 April 2019 and for the second phase of the exam will be released on 24 June 2019. The exam conducting authority will issue the admit cards to only those candidates who will successfully submit their application forms before the last date of submission. We advise aspirants to keep their admit cards safe until the completion of the admission process. Candidates must also know that no candidate will be allowed inside the examination hall without their admit cards and any of their ID proofs.

    NATA 2019 Result

    The result for NATA 2019 will be announced by the Council of Architecture in online mode. The NATA result 2019 for April exam will be declared on 3 May 2019 while the result for the second phase of NATA Exam will be declared on 24 June 2019. Through their login credentials, the candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their results on the official website. The exam conducting authority will also release the response sheet of candidates for Part A of paper, few days after the conduct of exam along with the marks secured by them subject-wise. The NATA 2019 score card will be valid for the academic session of 2019-20 only.

    NATA Admission Procedure 2019

    The Council of Architecture will not conduct any counseling process to offer admissions to the aspiring candidates into various NATA participating institutes 2019. Each participating institute will conduct its own counselling process. The aspiring candidates willing to get admissions into B.Arch courses through NATA score will need to apply to their preferred colleges after the declaration of the result. The participating institutes will only offer admissions to those candidates who will fall under the eligibility criteria as described by the institute at the time of admissions.

    Ques. Can the domiciles of North-East state apply for the exam without Aadhar card?

    Ans. The domiciles of North-East state will need to produce their other photo ID proof approved by the government if they don’t have Aadhar card.

    Ques. What are the additional charges to be paid other than the application fee for the exam?

    Ans. The application fee of NATA exam is inclusive of all service tax charged by the banks. The candidates need not to pay any additional charges other than the application fee for the exam.

    Ques. I will be reappearing for my 12th boards in 2019. What should I fill as my qualification status?

    Ans. Candidates who are either appearing first time for their 12th boards or are appearing for their improvement exams can fill the “appearing” option in the application form.

    Ques. How many times can I appear for the NATA exam?

    Ans. During the period of validation of latest scorecard, a candidate can appear for NATA exam twice a year.

    Ques. What is the validity of the NATA score card?

    Ans. A NATA score card is valid for an academic session.
