MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is a state level common entrance exam conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) for taking admission of the deserving candidates to undergraduate engineering programs offered by private and government engineering colleges of Maharashtra state. In the year 2019, MHT CET exam is expected to be held in total 36 districts of Maharashtra. Official brochure for MHT CET 2019 exam has been announced by DTE. Online application for MHT CET is already available from 1 January 2019 and admit card can be downloaded from 25 April 2019 and MHT CET exam will be held from 2 to 13 May 2019.

    The candidates who are appearing in the MHT CET exam in 2019 must be preparing for the exam by following the MHT CET exam pattern 2019. Here, the candidates can check the expected exam pattern which is based on last year’s exam pattern. The exam will be conducted in pen and paper-based offline mode and total duration of exam will be 3 hours (1.5 hrs for each section). The MHT CET exam paper 1 (mathematics) will be conducted in the English language while paper 2 (chemistry and physics) will be conducted in English, Marathi or Hindi language. Every correct response in Paper 1 will be awarded 2 marks, while 1 mark will be given for every correct answer in paper 2, and there is no negative marking for an incorrect answer in MHT CET.
