Scholarship

MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is a state level common entrance exam conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) for taking admission of the deserving candidates to undergraduate engineering programs offered by private and government engineering colleges of Maharashtra state. In the year 2019, MHT CET exam is expected to be held in total 36 district of Maharashtra. Official brochure for MHT CET 2019 exam has not been announced yet by DTE. Online application for MHT CET is expected to be made available from the 3rd week of January and admit card can be downloaded from the last week of April 2019 and MHT CET exam will be held tentatively in the second week of May 2019.

MHT CET 2019 Important Dates

    Schedule for MHT CET 2019 is yet to be announced by the Directorate of Technical Education. Till the official dates are announced, the candidates can check expected dates of a few major events of MHT CET 2019 which is based on last year’s admission schedule.     The candidates who are appearing in the MHT CET exam in 2019 must be preparing for the exam by following the MHT CET exam pattern 2019. Here, the candidates can check the expected exam pattern which is based on last year’s exam pattern. The exam will be conducted in pen and paper based offline mode and total duration of exam will be 3 hours (1.5 hrs for each section). The MHT CET exam paper 1 (mathematics) will be conducted in English language while paper 2 (chemistry and physics) will be conducted in English, Marathi or Hindi language. Every correct response in Paper 1 will be awarded 2 marks, while 1 mark will be given for every correct answer in paper 2, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answer in MHT CET.
