The exam date will soon be announced by the examination conducting body that is Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical. Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) provide the applying candidates with admission in the reputed government and private colleges and institutes in the state of Kerala. The courses in which KEAM provides admission are Engineering, Architecture, and Pharmacy courses in the state of Kerala. As per a notification released last year by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, from the year 2019 onwards admission in MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary, and Fishery programs would be based on NEET score. KEAM is an entrance examination which is done under the initiative of the Kerala Government. It is conducted once every year and is conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Exam, Kerala. If a 10+2 student wants to study in one of the premier colleges in the state of Kerala, he/she is advised to give the KEAM 2020 entrance examination.     KEAM 2020 Eligibility Criteria

    Qualification Criteria:

    Courses Eligibility
    ENGINEERING / ARCHITECTURE Candidates who passed 10th and 12th from a recognized board such as CBSE and managed to secure more than 50% marks aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). The candidate must have mathematics as one of his main subjects.
    MBBS/BDS/ BSMS Candidates who have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Biotechnology/Biology and secured more than 50% in Biology/Biotechnology separately and got more than 50% in PCM
    BAMS / BHMS Candidates should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in Biology separately, & get 50% marks in PCM group. The KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2020 would not consider Biotechnology as a subject for eligibility.
    BUMS Candidates must have passed 12th or its equivalent course with PCM subjects securing more than 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject. Candidate must get at least 50% mark in biology separately.
    B.Sc.(Hons) Forestry, B.Sc.(Hons.) Agri., BFSc Candidates should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in Biology separately, & get 50% marks in PCM group.
    BVSc. & AH Candidates should have passed 12th standard with at least 50% aggregate marks with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the qualifying examination.

    Nationality Criteria:

    It is mandatory for the candidate to be either an Indian Citizen, OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) or a PIO (Person of Indian Origin) for being eligible for giving the KEAM entrance exam. OCI and PIOs candidates would not be given any seat reservation.

    AGE Criteria:

    The KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2020 requires that the candidate should at least 17 years old as on or before the Month of December would be considered eligible for applying for the KEAM 2020 entrance exam.

    KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2020 Category:

    KERALITE NON-KERALITE
    Candidates who were born and have their origin in Kerala would be put into the Keralite group. Children of All India Service officers who are not natives of Kerala would also be considered Keralites but they won’t be provided with the benefits of Communal, Special and Persons with Disabilities reservation.     A candidate would be considered non-Keralite if they don’t belong to Kerala but fulfill any one of the following criteria:
    Category I Category II
    If he/she has done his/her education from Kerala and his/her Non- Keralite parents have been government employees or have worked in Defense Services and were posted in the state of Kerala. Candidates who are educated in Kerala and their parents have served or serving in the Kerala Government for at least 2 years. Candidates who have lived in the state of Kerala for at least 5 years within the period of last 12 years of the candidate’s study The Candidates coming under Non- Keralite Category would be eligible for admission in B.Tech course under the government and management quota seats. The non -Keralite Category II candidates would be offered seats in government-controlled, self-financing colleges and private self-financing engineering only when the Keralite and NK I candidates would not be present for admission. NK II Candidates would not be able to reap the benefits of Communal/ Special/ Persons with Disabilities reservation or any type of fee concession.

    Note: For engineering courses Non-Keralite Category I applicants will be considered against ‘State Merit’ seats. NK I candidates would not be viewed as qualified for Communal/Special/PWD reservation or some other KIND of expense concession amid the KEAM 2020 admission procedure.

    The syllabus of KEAM 2020 exam comprises the topics and chapters of science stream subjects of 12th standard i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. CEE will prescribe the KEAM Syllabus 2020.

    KEAM 2020 Preparation Tips

    Here, we are providing some tips & tricks to qualify for the examination:

    • Start preparing properly for the exam at least a month before the KEAM 2020 Entrance Exam.
    • Take a proper good

    KEAM 2020 Sample Papers

    KEAM sample papers 2020 are the model papers or previous years question papers which candidates should practice in order to get them prepared for the entrance exam, it will also help them appear in the exam more confidently and aware. Commissioner for Entrance Exam, Kerala does not release sample papers for the candidates. However, the candidates can avail the sample papers prepared by the known coaching institutes on its websites.

    KEAM 2020 Admit Card

    KEAM 2020 Admit Card would be issued online. The Candidates can download their KEAM Admit Card 2020 from the official website of the CEE, Kerala after it would be made available. The KEAM 2020 Admit Card would not be sent via post or courier services to the Candidate and is required to be downloaded online.

    The KEAM 2020 Application Form will be made available from the first week of February 2020. The candidate can submit their Application form till the first week of March 2020. After, the submission of the KEAM Application Form, the candidate would be issued their KEAM Admit Card by the Middle of April 2020. The KEAM 2020 exam would be held at the end of April 2020.

    The below-mentioned steps must be followed to admit the KEAM 2020 Admit Card:

    • Visit the official page of Commissionarate of Entrance Exam (CEE), Kerala.
    • Enter the “Application Number” and “Password” that were assigned to the candidate after the successful completion of the registration process of KEAM 2020. The Candidate then needs to type the “Security Code”, shown in the pictures box at the side of the Security Text box. After entering all of the above details, the candidate needs to click on the “SIGN IN” button.
    • After signing into the CEE, Kerala official webpage, the candidate should require to click on the “Download Admit Card” tab to proceed.
    • This would display the admit card on screen, the candidates should now take the print out of the KEAM 2020 Admit Card after checking that all the details displayed on the admit card are correct. 

    KEAM 2020 Exam Centers

    KEAM 2020 will be led in all areas of Kerala, chose scenes of Mumbai and New Delhi. Also, the exam will be conducted in one International centre which is Dubai. Candidates need to choose their test centre preferably in the application form.     KEAM 2020 Result

    KEAM Result 2020 will be declared in the 4th week of May 2020. The results will be announced on the official CEE website in the form of scorecards. The scorecard will have the scores obtained in the different papers and total score. The results for KEAM 2020 can be checked by following these steps:

    • Log on to the official KEAM website.
    • Click on the link of ‘KEAM 2020 Result’.
    • Applicants will have to enter their Application/ Roll Number to view their result.
    • The scorecard will appear.
    • Take a print out of the same.
    • CEE will also publish the provisional answer key which can be challenged through a candidate’s login account on the payment of INR 100 per answer. Applicants can estimate their rough score via this key.

    After the results are announced, the board will publish a merit list based on the performance of all candidates. It will specify the ranks obtained by individuals as per their mark and category. Equal weightage will be given to both papers for the purpose of making the merit list.

    KEAM 2020 Answer Key

    The candidates who are going to take up the KEAM exam in 2020 will be able to check the answer key in the last week of April 2020. The examination conducting body will release the official KEAM 2020 answer key on its website. The candidates can check the KEAM 2020 Answer Key also on this page when released. With the help of answer key, the candidates can check the correct answer of the questions asked in the entrance test and also be able to calculate their scores in the exam. The candidates who will not be satisfied with the released KEAM answer key 2020 can challenge it by sending their objections or doubts within the given timeline.

    KEAM 2020 Rank List

    Commissioner for Entrance Exam, Kerala prepares KEAM Rank List 2020 on the basis of performance by the candidates in KEAM 2020 exam. The candidates who qualify in the entrance exam will have to submit their 10+2 qualifying examination marks which will be used to prepare the KEAM rank list 2020. While preparing KEAM rank list 2020, equal weightage will be given to marks secured by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 and marks obtained in KEAM 2020. CEE, Kerala will release the same on its official website by the third week of June 2020. The candidates who clear the KEAM rank list 2020 will be called for admission through KEAM counselling 2020. During counselling, the candidates will be allotted seat through seat allotment process as per their merit in the exam. The marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam will be submitted after logging in through the candidate portal.

    KEAM 2020 Cutoff

    KEAM Cutoff 2020 will determine the minimum required rank to be eligible for admission through counselling process. The exam conducting body will prepare KEAM cutoff 2020 by following certain parameters like the number of candidates, difficulty level of the exam. The candidates can check the cutoff here once it gets released on the official website. The candidates who will secure ranks more than minimum ranks determined in the KEAM cutoff will have more chance to get admission. The cutoff will be released carry the opening and closing ranks, it might vary for all participating institutes and courses offered by them.

    KEAM 2020 Counselling

    The beginning of counselling process for KEAM 2020 will be in the month of June 2020. Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) will be responsible for the processing of counselling and seat allotment in a single window.

    The shortlisted candidates through the merit list will have to register online or they can seek help from the facilitation centre. For the seat allotment process, the candidates need to submit their college and course combination in order of preference. Through ranking and selection of the candidates, the seats will be allotted. Candidates will have to report at their allotted institutes after securing a seat in the institute to complete the admission formalities and tuition fees payment.

    KEAM 2020 Seat Allotment

    CEE, Kerala will allot the seat to the deserving candidates through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). The candidates who will secure the required rank in the entrance exam and will clear the KEAM cut off will be allotted seat. Such candidates will have to have to download their allotment memo after logging in and pay the fees at the nearest head post office or online. The candidates will be allotted seats based on the availability of seats and their preference of college and program. The candidates who will be allotted seat will have to report at the allotted institutes as per the schedule specified by the conducting body. At the reporting centre, the candidates have to produce the required documents and confirm their admission.

    B. Tech Courses offered through KEAM 2020

    The candidates who are going to appear in the KEAM exam in 2020 will be offered B.Tech seats based on their performance in the entrance test. The following B.Tech Courses will be offered through KEAM 2020:

    Ques. How can I know the status of my application form, whether it has reached the CEE office or not?

    Ans. On the status bar of the application portal on the official website, the “received at CEE” will get green color tick mark when the application has reached the office. Also, the authority will send a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.

    Ques. My application got rejected. What could be the possible reason for rejection?

    Ans. There could be two reasons for rejection of application- (a) if duly filled & signed course certificate and nativity certificate in the prescribed format are not attached along with the print copy of the application, or (b) if printout copy of the application and supporting document reached after the last date.

    Ques. Which documents are to be submitted along with the application form for KEAM 2020?

    Ans. Every candidate will need to submit the following documents along with their application form- Nativity Certificate, SSLC, or equivalent certificate, Class 12th/ B.Sc Passing Certificate & Mark Sheet, Course Certificate (If appearing), Income Certificate (Except SC/ST/OEC category), Inter-Caste marriage certificate (If applicable), Community Certificate, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, and Medical Certificate.
